RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - The Rogue - 08-28-2017

Does the switching of characters cool down apply to both Main and Alternate characters or only for that individual account?

I'm gonna say that it applies specifically to you and not each individual character. However, if you can justify why you want to switch both of your characters within 12 weeks, you can attempt to do so and it will be examined on a case-by-case basis.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Ebonywood Hellscythe - 08-28-2017

@The Rogue:

The switching cooldown applies to the person, not the account. You personally will have to wait X amount of time before switching with either account after a previous switch.

(Although if you haven't switched often and can generally explain why your current character(s) doesn't work and why your new one(s) will, the time can be reduced. It just won't always be.)

Which space marine chapters are there in coruscant and do machine spirits exist

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Alex - 09-01-2017

The space marines, while based off of 40k, that exist in Coruscant were created by Palpatine, so we don't have any official 'chapters' and there aren't machine spirits at the Imperial level. Could there be people in Coruscant who believe in machine spirits? Of course.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - The Vision - 09-01-2017

I would like to remove Captain America as a leader of the Avengers and instead appoint Moon Knight. How would I go about doing such a thing?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Blink - 09-02-2017

What exactly do you need done? I mean, I don't see any problem with it, I just don't know what you want aside from a thumbs up.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - The Vision - 09-02-2017

There is way to appoint Group Leaders... It allows the user some privileges like inviting new members and stuff.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Blink - 09-02-2017

Ah, you might need to make a new thread for that. Doesn't sound like something just anyone can do.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Summer - 09-03-2017

If you had Regen (Basic or Advanced doesn't matter) and wanted to spend SP to heal (3,6,9,etc) HP over time instead of all at once, would that require a super? Or would it just be a default use of Regen? Rules specify that you need supers for different uses of Healing, I'm just confused on whether that extends to Regen as well >.>

Obviously stand by for a more experienced staff member to potentially overrule my call here, but: After re-reading the regen rules, I don't believe you need to make a super move. You can either choose to expend SP for more healing, or not. If you want to roleplay it as 'all at once' or 'over time,' I'd say that's up to you.

Quote:Basic Regeneration – 1800 OM
Basic Regeneration does not let you outright heal serious or major injuries such as severed limbs or crushed bones, but it does grant you accelerated passive healing (see above for rules) with or without expending SP. By expending SP, you may partially or wholly recover minor to moderate injuries (by treating the injuries as damage points). You may remove the damage component of serious and major injuries (in IC terms, this means stopping the bleeding and turning, for example, a severed arm into a stump) but not the injury itself, meaning that it will continue to debilitate your character.

Advanced Regeneration – 2200 OM (400 OM if replacing Basic Regeneration)
Advanced Regeneration adds the ability to regenerate any type of injury by expending SP. Otherwise, it is identical to Basic Regeneration.

So then something like this: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=2830&pid=114782#pid114782
Wouldn't require a move? It could be foddered away as normal sp regen?
Dane and I were discussing that (beyond his critique in the thread), but we're both at a loss >.>

My understanding of the ability that I quoted there is that you should not require a super move to use SP to regenerate. So until another staffer says otherwise, that's my call on it. With that in mind, I don't have the authority to approve or disapprove moves, so I'm talking completely from a mindset of how the ability is written to me.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Trixie - 09-04-2017

Blink is correct. You would not require a Super Move to do what you're asking.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Moon Knight - 09-04-2017

In the most recent thread of mine, I'm wanting to use Moon Knight's NPC Franche to fly the team in Moon Knight's Mooncopter. In the rules it says.
Quote:Stronger Primes are able to overcome this limitation on flying vehicles in the case of vehicles or mounts which are tied directly to themselves (in other words Assists that have Flight can be summoned anywhere) though this requires a greater degree of power and cannot be sustained indefinitely.

Does this mean I could make Franche as an assist for such a thing to work?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - King Ghidorah - 09-04-2017

I'm fairly certain that (assuming you're doing this outside of Coruscant, Camelot or the Dataverse, where flying vehicles can be summoned normally) it means you'd need the Mooncopter as an assist.

For the Mooncopter to fly though wouldn't Moon Knight need the power of flight?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - King Ghidorah - 09-04-2017

It would, yes.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - PepsiYuuka - 09-04-2017

I'm aware NPC move rules are more lenient than those about our Prime's moves, but should I get them approved anyway even if they are basic weapons?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Blink - 09-04-2017

My thought is that unless you using them for PvP (like, an assist), you don't need to get basic moves approved for a secondary.

See Daniel's post below.
