All competitions will be fights/conflicts of some nature (whether that is straight-up in an arena or has some extra silliness like equipment, secondaries on your side, etc). I think, personally, that having some pairs in conflicts and others pseudo-cooperating wouldn't be fair: "I had to write against so-and-so, but they all got to (fake) cooperate and/or not even had to interact with the people they were against."
You ever play the Friday the 13th PC game? It's fun, and now I wanna go home and slaughter more councilors as Jason.

When the fight areas say they come with hazards that will always affect someone (because Dante Physics), is that basically saying we should treat them like moves used by other primes rather than incidental/environmental effects (like how Ebony might walk through a really cold place and not care too much, but if someone uses a blizzard move with a debuff, she totally would). Or is it actually saying that they're actually unblockable effects? (I.e. if a normal move could reasonably be used to attempt to avoid, can we try to do so)
For example, say Jimmy the high DEF prime makes a bubble shield around himself, then gets pushed into the arena's toxic gasses. Can the shield protect him for a bit (but presumably it would corrode or something, so he'd better try to get out of the gas pretty quick)?

This, with a bit added in bold. Environmental Hazards are like scary moves from scary primes, if that helps your thought process.

I'm not going to generate a list of sites, but you can assume that most hubs of life have a registration area outside, this can include Nippur, unless Gilgamesh wants to not have one, and he can be all indignant about it.
But yea, the tent/areas will be adjacent to settlements, rather than inside their borders. The exception is Coruscant, since Coruscant is all one enormous city, so Syntech can't really work around that.

Power Rankings are often used by sport's writers to list how they think particular teams are doing at a given point in the season. It's usually based on their personal preference, rather than raw performance (although the latter usually impacts the former). I do these "IC" rather than "OOC", so they're often just Karl's opinions on how primes are competing, rather than me ranking how writers are actually doing (although technically, this year, you could do that, but I prefer to sass people as Karl)
