Except in the original Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link, where Ganon is killed in the former, and tried to be resurrected in the later but it fails. And it's also postulated that he may have died at the end of Twilight Princess.

Ah, but do you remember what Demise said? For eternity, someone will inherit his hatred and return to battle the Hero and the descendant of the Goddess. :p
And yes, I know Ganondorf can die. He's just remarkably able to return from the dead.

All of that is true. Ganon is always a threat. This is what Wiki says (I'd validate it but my Hyrule Historia is in another room):
The real-life nonfiction text Hyrule Historia reveals that Ganon's hatred is so intense that he can survive even the total obliteration of his body and remain conscious.

Welp, I caved in response to the new Wind Waker pack and ordered a Wii U. I think I'm most looking forward to Wonderful 101 though. And just having my hands on the thing, after delaying for so long.

Damn British. They get all the cool stuff. I had to order my Wind Waker HD Limited Edition (ie. with the Ganondorf figure) from there because Nintendo Australia is too cool for that.
Wonderful 101 is a big one on my list too. Looks really sweet.

I didn't get the Ganondorf figure, I got the pack with the limited edition gamepad. Goes well with my Skyward sword decal gold wiimote. >=D
Been playing lots of Monster Hunter. I do the shitty quests and gathering on my 3DS at work, then do the hard/fun/challenging hunts at home. If anyone else has it, add me, I'm Helixagon.

Just started playing Hitman Absolution. Only a level in so far but it's not bad, especially for $6 or however much Steam sale priced it. I've heard a lot of Hitman purists say it's not open like the earlier games, but it doesn't bother me. Granted I've only played Blood Money, but it was very open. BM was about giving you a target and you do whatever you want to kill them, whereas Absolution is about traversing through a level stealthily and getting to the target, but then choosing how you dispose of them, which I guess is more Splinter Cell-y? But I don't mind because SC is pretty fun. And so is this.
