Eda hated this feeling that seemed to be consuming everyone , this anxiety and paranoia that seemed to be plaguing them from being close to someone who was watching them . She however kept eyes ahead for them , seeing something strange not far from them . Hearing the trees creak and the wildlife get further away , she anticipated that something was about to go down . They were likely right in the middle of it too , her fingertips tingling from being at the ready for a possible fight . Her voice kept a bare whisper so only her group could hear her .
" I don't know what is going on I just want to get to some kind of place with other people , whatever is watching us is not making a move to fight us . I don't think it is after that at all , maybe a creature that has a nest nearby then ? "

Small Knife kept on jumping from tree to tree, keeping up next to the group. Each time he grabs on to a tree it creaks because of his weight. He looked down at them and could see that the one identified as the Drow, flick her head back and forth each time he moved. The Faunus would use the Drow’s signals and her own abilities to aim at him.
They were on a direct path to the temple marked on Small Knife’s Heads Up Display. He had to do something, and quick, while it was still far ahead of this group, he could not let them get any closer. He leaps across the path and extends his wrist blades. They cut through the nearest tree with ease. Upon his blades hitting the tree, Small Knife's cloaking deactivates. While in mid air Small Knife twists himself around and kicks the tree, speeding up its fall. Then flipping again he kicks the tree towards the four girls. He lands on his feet, reactivates his cloaking as the girls are preoccupied with the tree, then leaps to other trees, going towards the temple.

Ebony used her speed to scoop Amber out of the way, figuring the other two could deal with the flying tree themselves. She saw that he was moving away from them, so she was undecided on what to do, whether to chase and attack him, or simply let him move away from them. His tactics screamed that there was something he did not want them to see, as he had tried to put an obstacle in their way, and was trying to get beyond the range of her ability to sense him. She looked at everyone to see if they had gotten out of the way of the attempt to smack them with the tree, then put Amber down. "I tell you, you have ended up in my arms more times lately than is probably safe for either of us", she said with a small chuckle, before dashing after him, drawing her blade, as that had definitely, in her opinion been a hostile move, no matter the reason he had done it. She did not initiate combat, though she wanted, simply kept him in sight until verifying he was simply trying to escape after sending the tree at them. Once she had verified that he was leaving, she came bacjk to the rest of the party, sheathing her sword.

Amber quickly threw her clothes on. Only the necessary one though, her shirt and skirt, then ran to help Ebony, but she was already coming back. Amber trained her gun past Ebony, just to be careful. "You sure it ran?" Amber said as she got closer, in which she replied with a nod. Finally, the faunus lowered her weapon and put the rest of her clothes on, wrapping the bandages around her ankle and up her calf. Same with her hands the put her back on. "Well, besides the tree, that went rather well I think. I'm all about cracking skulls, but no need to pick pointless fights, lest one wishes to court death." She said to the party.

Andyra heard a snapping and looked into the direction that the noise had come from, as a war lion her hearing was more aquate, same with Ambers, they both had advantages with what they were. A tree was being thrown at them? Really? She just rolled her eyes, getting in front of the other three as she would shield the party from the oncoming tree, though she wasn't planning on letting it hit her either, as she steadied her feet in the ground, fully prepared to catch the tree that was coming towards them. She could take it, it wouldn't matter what kind of tree it was, she knew she could handle it, she had handled so much worse than a simple tree many many times before.

Eda was quick to react when she saw Andyra trying to be stupid and get killed , pushing her out of the way with all of her might . Her own small frame at risk for a few moments , however her superior speed permitted her to narrowly escape being hit . A tiny eep escaping her when it hit just behind her , her hands shaking .
" The hell were you thinking , you might be strong and all but that was a tree . You could have gotten hurt dumb dumb , remember you aren't back home "
She could not sense or see the attacker now , this had her on edge . Why was it she could not detect them , her eyes and ears betraying her was seriously not okay at all .
" Something tells me we are somewhere we shouldn't be , something here in the forest is protecting this area . Maybe we should go back , some place away from here , I mean none of us are even picking up any lifeforms here . That can not be good , can it ? "

"Well, as for the one who we were facing before has left, yes", she said to Amber. "He dashed off away from us after trying to hit us with the tree, probably as a diversionary tactic. I agree though, to fight unnecessarily here is simply asking to be getting ourselves in trouble, killed, or worse", she said with a shake of her head. "Im sure any of us would have been able to take him back home, but none of us are home right ow, unfortunately".
"I agree with Eda, though, for once, Andyra. You are not the tons of half-lion, half-dragon that you usually are back home, and that tree's mass, even if you are strong enough to catch it, would have driven you into the ground, seriously injuring you, if not more".
"And yes, Eda, he is stealthed, but I followed him for a little bit, and he is going away from us at his full speed. Apparently, we are near something here that he did not want us finding, so I suggest simply going in a different direction than the one he headed off in, and we should not run into him again".

"I agree with Ebony. I highly doubt a being like that is looking for a city to settle in, it's probably looking for something, something we definitely don't want any part of, I'm sure." Said Amber who was resummoning her equipment, everything but the helmet right now. She swung Razorback into it's ginormous sheathe/holster on her back. "I'm feeling like 300% better. I think this ailment that's been inflicting me is starting to dissipate." She said in relieved tone. Almost in a way that it seemed like she thought it was permanent. "Shall we continue then?" She said extending her arm away from the invisible bastard.

Andyra was surprised when Eda knocked her out of harm's way. Though her words did register she was in a human form at the moment, did that mean she had the mass of a human? She looked at herself with a wide eyed realization look in her dark blue hues.
"Man that is so annoying. How the heck am I supposed to get back to the way I was then?" she asked bluntly, she refused to stay like this forever. She couldn't, and wouldn't. She of course had never had issues with her human side, but she was part lion and not having a piece of yourself that you are so asscustomed to having was rather odd to say the least. She let out a slight sigh annoyed.
"I agree, let's just get ourselves far far away from that strange individual. I don't trust him, and I don't like him." explained Andyra towards the others, going in the opposite direction Small Knife had ran off in.

Eda bit her thumb thinking for a moment , pointing in a direction away from them . Her voice as cheerful as ever , trying to get all of their attention .
" Then east we shall go , hopefully we can find a town or a village of some kind "
She started to walk just ahead of them now , far away from the temple that they had been headed to . Though they had never seen the temple , knew nothing of such a thing . She kept an upbeat tune in her mind , putting one foot in front of the other . Though the sky seemed to grow a bit darker , night was setting in . It would be a long while for them , she was well aware that this was no trip to the rose garden .

"Well, since we have all stated the obvious, let us get a move on towards wherever we are going then", Ebony said, though she looked at Amber, a question in her eyes. "What do you mean, whatever it is is dissipating", she asked with a curious look. "Did dying do something to you that we don't see", she asked. "Is it something we should know and be aware of, for further knowing of what to watch out for in this crazy place"?

Amber , looked back at Ebony after listening to the others and replied, "Yeah, ever since I've respawned in the Nexus, I've felt weaker, but it feels like I'm starting to recover from it. I should be back at full strength within a few hours, probably tonight." She said, "Be wary of death, we might live forever, but even ever lasting life has it's down sides." She then turned to Andyra. "Your powers will come back naturally before you know it." She slipped her Omnilium orb from her pocket and showed everyone. "This is a manifestation of my current Omnilium, I presume. The more I travel in this world, the brighter it glows, the stronger I become. If you don't have something like this, it's probably because I made it with my Omnilium. It was sort of a way to understand how summoning works in this world. I draw my power from the orb and it materializes what ever I desire so long as I have the power to do so. I've seen people shapeshift, Andyra, so if you want your war lion form back, you simply need to desire it enough. If it doesn't work, try again later." She explained to the group, putting her Omnilium orb away.
Since Amber was feeling much better, she was the most experienced in the Omniverse, and her nature as a leader, she took point. "Hey Andyra, you watch our six. Our advanced senses will be better for identifying anything else that might try to sneak up on us. Ebony, watch Eda's back. Let's try not to get snuck up on again." She said leading them East as unanimously decided.

Andyra listened carefully, like always to the more experienced one of the party's words.
"I see so it's about desire and this Omnilium that you speak of. Very well I desire more than anything to be able to shift to my war lion form, and just have my normal mass back. Because being human is rather bland and boring, I mean no offense to you Eda but I simply cannot stay like this forever." replied Andyra. Andyra would follow Eda as she began to head in the direction of the East, far away from Small Knife and whatever he was trying to protect was for the best for the whole of the group. Besides she knew none of them really would care about such a thing. Andyra nodded towards Amber.
"Of course. You can count on me." she smiled towards her. She didn't know why but she felt a sense of trust with herself and Amber and the others despite not knowing them for very long, it felt like the bunch had formed together to help one another against any odds that each other might face, and they would be there for one another, just the encounter with Small Knife had pointed this out to her.

Eda could not believe believe her eyes just ahead , what she had been picking up earlier was indeed the case . There was no less then two dozen of them in total , warriors of walking bone . Twenty four of them making an advance on the position of the party , armed with swords and spears . Bow users in the back as well , some even holding staves as if to cast magic . Eda took a step back eyes going wide , trying not to utter a curse at the sight of them .
" Well guys looks like our night just got even longer , who is up for busting some skulls then "

"Eh, a bunch of skeletons", Ebony said, obviously not that intimidated by the fact of there being twenty-four of them, though she was looking for any that looked different, hoping that there were none in black armor or exuding a lot of magic. She was curious what a bunch of undead were doing out in a very life-oriented place like this forest, perhaps a issue to check out in the future. With that she shrugged, getting ready to fight, as skeletons were not exactly something that could be reasoned with, and would have to be put down before they could move on.

Amber finally felt alive again. She twisted her sword in her hand using the blunt side. Now that her strength seemed to be back, she gripped her sword in her left hand for the first time since she respawned. Ever since she died, she had been holding her sword with two hands. It wasn't something Amber enjoyed doing. One hand on her sword left flexibility to move around quickly. "On the offensive guys, I wouldn't take simple enemies for granted." She rushed in, two times faster than she was before, and swung her sword with the blunt side into one of the skeletons. The bones exploded into a shower of pieces and a little dust where her sword crushed the bone. "That felt so good." She said with a smirk, loving being back at full strength, nothing would stop her fury now.

Andyra saw the skeletons up just ahead of them there was a good many of them, they reminded her of home a bit, since skeletons were regularly common from the place she lived. She might not have her full strength yet but she knew that even in her current state she could easily handle a bunch of skeletons. Though she really did miss her claws and fangs. Andyra charged alongside of Amber going to strike the skeletons nearest her with a full powered punch aimed to shatter them into tiny little bones all over the ground as she smirked a confident grin, and responded to Amber.
"Ah they're just skeletons, it's not like they're that much of a threat to begin with."

Eda was ready too unleashing the small blasts she had been holding for so long , peppering the mob of them with little pink rays of light . No less then eight of the mob of undeads falling to what was normally a pitifully weak attack .
" Not very strong are they , this is way too easy hehe "
She seemed to quickly be finding her stride , her place within this world . Her confidence was growing with each fight , with each enemy she managed to best she was becoming more sure she could handle this much . She dodged between swords and spears with ease , sidestepped arrows . However one of the spell-casters managed to land a hit on her , making her skid back from being hit in the shoulder by a blast similar to her own
" Ok that actually hurts more than I thought it would "

Ebony also was having no problems with the skeletons, cleaving through them with relative ease, until she saw what she most dreaded, a large skeleton, dressed head to toe in black armor, boasting a large magical presence, simply standing there watching the party cleave through the rest of the force of normal skeletons. "Everyone, look out for that one", she said with a sigh, ,both inner and visible. "It is going to be more of a problem than all of the other little ones, all put together. I have seen ones like this before".

Amber stopped and shook blade out of the bone dust that had collected from multiple smashes. "I'll show it a problem." She said as she swund her blade out once again and starred back at it. Ebony was right, Amber could feel an other worldly presense from the skeleton. Walking dead wasn't a normal occurence in Remnant, but that didn't scare Amber. The more someone percieves as unbelievable, the more thing become impossible. She readied her blade and charged the skeleton as a fake. She would wait for it to swing it's massive sword then come in for a good hit, still using the blunt side of her blade. Razorback met the black steel of the skeletons armor and it clanged loudly like a gong. The strike was strong enough that the skeleton recoiled, but nothing that looked like it hurt it. "Tougher than I thought." She got out of range. "Hey Andyra, this looks like a test of strength, wanna help me break some bones?" She said with a smirk. This was a battle she was really getting into.
