Err Jade Reckoning has been established to be somewhere between the Ninja Village and the gate towards the Nexus.
I established long ago when I was asking Guu about making a make shift map of the Greens.

Mokugakure is described as being deep in the forest. Given that we're assuming there's enough space in the Green for all of the tribes, goblins, blight, fokken elves, etc, it's probably quite distant from the gate. Because your base is presumably halfway between the two, maybe it's an hour or two's travel to the gate, possibly longer due to the rough terrain, weather, or the ever-shifting forest?

Never really had issues traversing it with Retane's move set. But if Jade(Jade Reckoning's AI) picked this message up and relayed it to Retane(yesterday) one would presume that by the time I post either tomorrow or Tuesday, that Retane would have arrived.

The talk of relics would mean artefacts.
Sasuke once returned Malefactor to Retane.
Retane made a promise about respecting the Abyss and targetting the winner of the Abyss for said artefacts. =P

I really don't see the issue with this. IC Sasuke made decisions that affected those around him. He can't expect to keep avoiding the flame. The IC consequences have to be dealt with.

I understand that Sasuke, Victor, and their allies may be a bit burned out from life and the event. I'm perfectly willing to wait for them to sort out what they need and respond to my challenge when they are prepared mentally and emotionally to do so.
As I've said before, this is about IC revenge on the part of a man known for being vindictive and vengeful. I'm unconcerned about OOC vendettas. If someone uses an IC reason to settle an OOC animosity in this challenge, I, of course, don't care about that either. As long as it make sense for the character.
I'll be clear here. I'm not picking on anyone. I'm not "out to get" anyone nor am I angry in an OOC sense. My character, Smith, desires justice for his perceived wrongs. THAT is the reason for the challenge. After doing his research on Sasuke and Victor, he realized he would need help in enacting his revenge, thus the Dataverse message. How people use this message is none of my business. For me, this is an entirely IC affair.
