Re: Move Creation Workshop - Ururu Kyuuei - 09-30-2015 Immortality Technique – Genesis Transfusion Cost: 600om Requires: Super Utility Tier 1, Regeneration (Basic), Twin Sacrificial Rebirth (Move), Hive Mind Targeting a preexisting clone/doll under the user’s control or taking the time to perform the hand seals and chakra molding associated with said technique, the user is able to relieve themselves of their body and take this new body as their own. This results in their leaving behind the old body, and any damage it may have taken, and it being able to serve as Clone/Doll vessel for a persona as per the mechanics of Twin Sacrificial Rebirth. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Thaal Sinestro - 09-30-2015 Ururu Kyuuei Wrote:Immortality Technique – Genesis TransfusionThe wording of the Twin Sacrificial Rebirth confuses the hell out of me, so I'm having a hard time tracking what it is. It sounds like a clone that can't fight, because that'd be an Assist? But, back to this one, it seems as though you're removing ALL damage that's dealt to you with this move, which seems extreme, especially for a Tier 1. I might suggest that you put SOME of the damage onto the clone? Like, the clone absorbs some of the damage, maybe either "Up to X damage" or "for X% of her total damage". Both options are more useful in certain situations. I'd personally say, "Up to 4 Damage" or "for 25% of all current damage." It sounds like a clone that can't fight, because that'd be an Assist? I have to use an assist to power them up for combat, but yeah that's the general idea. Otherwise they are just highly useful secondaries. How about, "At minimum heals 4 Damage and a maximum of 25% of total." It sounds like a clone that can't fight, because that'd be an Assist? Just butting in here to say that since the maximum damage you can possibly accumulate without being dead is 19, that 4 Damage or 25% of current damage is about the same, differing only by a possible 1 point if you're literally on the verge of death with 19 Damage. Might want to tone down the minimum or remove it altogether. Or swap the numbers around. 25% of her current Damage up to a maximum of 4, or something. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Ururu Kyuuei - 10-01-2015 And thanks I'll probably just go with 4 when the time goes round to approve it. Now for things I intend to take now The Architect Cost: 900om Requires: Area of Attack Proficiency, Area of Defense Proficiency, Remote Control Proficiency After forming a set of hand seals and molding the chakra Ururu takes active control of the land, infusing it with their will. Through active full body movements and a constant chakra supply the user causes earth, stone and generate woody plant life to move, grow and take shape within a targeted volumetric (3m^3). Provided the user maintains the technique (and the drain it causes), they can move the targeted area as needed but lose the ability to modify previous areas, and not use any other chakra related techniques while in play. Simple combat oriented features and designs take only half seconds or slightly longer to form, while more complexity, and sturdier designs increases the required effort in time to build. Offensively this allows the user the rapidly deploy dangerous structures ranging from simple spike like protrusions, opening gaps inherent to moving of material and closing them with a great deal of force. Projectile Interception Cost: 300om Requires: Physical Strength, Range Control Proficiency Using a manipulable object under user's control, they are able to skillfully block or deflect objects with little concentration that are on an incoming trajectory within range of the item being wielded. This is provided they are able to ascertain the projectile around the time has been launched and can manipulate their quickly enough to intercept it. Chakra Walker Cost: 300om Requires: Physical Strength Through passive manipulation of chakra within the body, the user is able to attach or anchor themselves to surfaces as if they were normal ground such as walls, ceilings and water without suffering any loss of ability. The technique is basic enough where it costs the user little to nothing and requires no concentration to perform while still allowing them to perform other chakra intensive techniques. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Alain the Carnedge - 10-01-2015 I'm just gonna hope I didn't go crazy with these because I was tired, as I sometimes do. Alternate Form: The Primordial Armour As the Tarrasque Carapace Piece he has needs to be used for something, Alain made a suit of armour to fit certain situations. The result is a rather intimidating 7'6" tall "man" with a voice that permanently sounds guttural and hoarse. It is a full transformation, and the mercenary does actually become the suit of armour, which is animated and has no body inside it, though it will still bleed blood that looks like magma, even though it quite obviously isn't. ATK: 5 DEF:4 SPD:0 TEC:1 Primordial Hammer (300 OM, Physical Proficiency) A gigantic warhammer primarily used by the Tarrasque armour, as it's usually too heavy to use otherwise. For anybody with less than 4 ATK, it's practically impossible to lift. The hammer's main purpose is to fight armoured opponents, and it does so well. The weapon is swung with enough force to cause a foe pain even if they block, and is not only surprisingly fast due to the armour's strength, but due to it's size can hit multiple foes at once. On the other hand, the size makes it likely to hit allies as well, and it's just as effective against the Primordial Armour as it is against other people, assuming the foe can lift it. The hammer is also incredibly ineffective as a defense. Summoned with the Primordial Armour. Modified Pistol (300 OM, Ranged Proficiency) A Desert Eagle pistol that can fire 8 bullets before having to reload, and modified to fire 9x39mm rounds. (Otherwise known as sniper rifle bullets) Shoddy accuracy aside, the rounds will more than likely put a massive dent in anything they actually manage to hit. The fire rate could also be improved on, as there's a 1.5 second wait in between shots, assuming the shooter isn't put off by the incredible recoil. Effective range of 20 meters. The gun overall seems impractical, but the power's practically unmatched, as the bullets can reliably pierce armour or other defenses while having enough stopping power to make sure anybody that gets hit will definitely know about it. The bullets are also likely to go right through a foe with low defense. Requires a minimum of 5 ATK to use without being messed up by the recoil. Re: Move Creation Workshop - The Rogue - 10-03-2015 I have an idea for my character, but I need to save up for the Profinciencies involved. Satchel Charge (requires Area attack Profinciency and Remote Control Profinciency: (cost 300) Connor can lay a plasticene explosive and detonate it with its remote, he can link multiple charges to one remote, but they all go off at once when used by the same remote. Has a blast radius of 5 feet, and has a seemingly indefinite range to be set off at. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Ururu Kyuuei - 10-03-2015 Connor Hound Wrote:I have an idea for my character, but I need to save up for the Profinciencies involved. I'd say you'd need to list a summoning restock time along with the number of these explosives he can have on him at any given time. For that I say 3 minutes and 6 explosives respectively. So, I have this. Quote:Static Burst (Area Attack, Ranged, Ranged Materialized) (300) And this. Quote:For weaknesses: Well, if he can't focus well (due to a debuff or other means) or if it hits an object in the way (like a wall and such), it falls apart pretty quickly and can dissipate very quickly. Oh and the plane in front of him must be flat-surfaced if it's to perform the best; if the ground is even slightly rocky/bumpy, it's going to have difficulty with travel as it would slow it down somewhat, that's just it. Anyone wanna pitch their hand into this? I'm thinking of simplifying it. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Minato Namikaze - 10-04-2015 @Specter 1. How large is the ball of energy? 2. Instantaneous creation is generally something that we don't do. However, a few seconds to create this ball of energy between his hands would be fine. 3. What is the maximum distance? How far can it travel before the move dissipates? 4. What is the blast Radius? it's an area attack so it's larger than 3 feet. but what is it's exact radius? Re: Move Creation Workshop - SARU - 10-04-2015 Quote:1. How large is the ball of energy? It's about the same size as a soccerball. It starts out small before it gets to it's full size. Quote:2. Instantaneous creation is generally something that we don't do. However, a few seconds to create this ball of energy between his hands would be fine. I wanted to correct that. It actually takes a window of 3 seconds for creation; it's just I thought it would be instantaneous at first. Quote:3. What is the maximum distance? How far can it travel before the move dissipates?Something about medium-long range; I know it isn't an exact estimation but it's something. I apologize if I'm struggling here but measurements aren't my best. Quote:4. What is the blast Radius? it's an area attack so it's larger than 3 feet. but what is it's exact radius?Again, measurements aren't my forte but, once it unleashes it's power, it would affect at the most, 4-5 feet, of the opponent. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Reece - 10-04-2015 Specter Wrote:Your character is supposed to be some kind of footballer, right? Well, when he kicks the ball, how far across the field does it go? Football pitches are 105 metres long, according to Wikipedia, so assuming he doesn't constantly kick it off the pitch, it probably should be around the hundred-metre mark, or less.Quote:3. Super defense move: Stand up (Cost: 600) The Kid takes the full force of a super move and falls to the floor. Whatever wounds meant to be inflicted have been inflicted in a minor way. However, he stands back up and continues fighting with unbelievable willpower. Not allowing the damage to effect him in the slightest. As if he had the survival power. This only works on tier 1 moves. When used, he takes no damage, although he cannot attempt to stop a character from using their attack. In activating this move he is locked into taking the hit. Thanks for giving it a look! Probably wrong on a few levels, but if a shield can block a level 1 super move then I think this would just be a personal shield with flavor. Let me know if it's flat out broken or needs proficiency's. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Dawnika Snow - 10-04-2015 Dawnika's tier 1 Super Move The Power Of Two to Cut One In Half (Requires Physical Strength) Dawnika calls upon her emotions of love rather than rage to empower her blade with the soul of her deceased loved one, Blackwing. His aura infuses inside the blade lighting it blue. Dawnika charges her opponent with the sword, lashing out with her speed she attacks her enemy from all directions. To finish of her attack, Dawnika goes for a blow to the stomach. After the cut lands, the aura transfers to her enemy and explodes on the enemy. Faintly the enemy can hear a males voices say "I love you". Re: Move Creation Workshop - Yu Kanda - 10-05-2015 Dawnika Snow Wrote:Dawnika's tier 1 Super Move I love the flavor you added to this move, it makes it allot more personal than just a few slashes. The move is well written and clear of what it does. Seeing as the Aura transfers towards the enemy to basically "attack" him from the inside this move will need the Debuff Proficiency. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Minato Namikaze - 10-06-2015 From this post Onward, The Move Creation Workshop is for Refining Moves. Before posting here, make sure you have a move that needs refining. This is not, I repeat, NOT a thread for creating and coming up with moves, but for refining the moves you want to get approved. This is to reduce the amount of blockage within the actual approval thread. Thank you Re: Move Creation Workshop - Minato Namikaze - 10-06-2015 Dawnika Snow Wrote:Dawnika's tier 1 Super Move Attacking from all sides? Just for clarity, how many attacks does she actually let off? Re: Move Creation Workshop - Dawnika Snow - 10-06-2015 She lets off about 10 slashes, circling her opponent as she attacks, then lets off the final strike. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Minato Namikaze - 10-06-2015 so 11 in total? |
