RE: Quick Questions II - Jim Raynor - 01-07-2017 Would Flight be needed for gliding? I would think you could have Super Jumping and then make a move that lets you float down from height. RE: Quick Questions II - Beta Ray Bill - 01-07-2017 What would I need to create a move for a swarm of attacking crows? Could also need Area Attack and/or Ranged Materialize, depending on how it's executed. RE: Quick Questions II - Yukki Kazuto - 01-07-2017 Quick question, won't take any time at all. Let's say someone get's a bounty. For instance I get a bounty with the Empire for something, and my bounty is 200 Dead/captured, 450 Banished. Let's say nobody collects this bounty for a certain time, perhaps two or three weeks. Let's say I then do something else that warrants a bounty. Are the two bounties added together, bringing me up to 400 Dead/Captured and 900 Banished, or does the bounty stay the same, and it's just added as another reason for the same bounty? RE: Quick Questions II - ElFailzalot - 01-07-2017 (01-07-2017, 10:47 PM)Yukki Kazuto Wrote: Quick question, won't take any time at all. The bounty is based on your level at the time of committing the offense/committing a new offense. If you did something else to warrant a bounty, it would just add further offenses to your bounty listing, and probably get you more attention from stronger hunters, possibly even from NPC bounty hunters if you make yourself a big enough nuisance. RE: Quick Questions II - Crocodile - 01-07-2017 I'd think every new offense would add a new bounty listing, personally. Something like how Nealaphh had bounties from multiple Factions, I figure a new crime would give a new bounty at current level. Ie: punch a Stormtrooper at level 1 and get a Bounty. Punch another after you get level two, and a second Empire Bounty with level 2 pay out. Which is to say, the more you dick over someone, even if your level is low, the more they'll want you gone. Just by adding more bounties to your head. Which can be dangerous when you have the equivalent bounty to a level 10 as a level 2 charactee. RE: Quick Questions II - Strazio Rockwell - 01-07-2017 Alright, so I know this has been asked before but I don't remember the answer and I can't seem to find it. Are NPCs allowed to complete quests? And if the quest has a level requirement, does the level of the account matter or can the NPC simply not participate in it? RE: Quick Questions II - Crocodile - 01-07-2017 I'd say if it was a "renewable" quest, they probably could do it. Like a Void Quest, or Faction Quest. Something that is a one-time quest, like a Star Piece, I'd say no. Simply because that's taking away something a PC could do. Course, if it's already been answered, disregard. It's just my opinion. RE: Quick Questions II - Yukki Kazuto - 01-08-2017 I know it's been asked before, but my searches turned up nothing. Can someone describe what the security is like at the different gates, in particular the Nexus-Coruscant gate? RE: Quick Questions II - Amaterasu - 01-08-2017 (01-08-2017, 12:24 PM)King Ghidorah Wrote: Most of the gates don't have security. At the Coruscant gate, there are just two stormtroopers standing sentinel on the Nexus side, but once you go through the gate you end up in a customs line. In order to enter the city you need to submit to a thorough scan, and have your identity logged by the Imperial authorities. What Ghidorah says is right for the most part - although there can be more than "only" two troopers at the gate, there's no specific number on this. The Camelot Gate does have some amount of security as well, with guards being stationed at the entrance. The other six gates have no security to date and can just be stepped through. RE: Quick Questions II - Crocodile - 01-08-2017 As a note: the Vasty Deeps gate doesn't have swxurity on the Nexus side, but it leads directly to the Imperial city of Costa del Sol, which has a strong Navy presence. RE: Quick Questions II - Dave Strider - 01-09-2017 If I wanted to be able to loop through time to a previous place I was, would I need teleportation? RE: Quick Questions II - Daniel - 01-09-2017 yes, and even then, you'd still be limited by the range of teleportation. You wouldn't be able to go "back in time" to when you were somewhere outside of the teleportation range. Also, I'm going to say now that you'd probably not be able to move anyone else, and if you wanted to I'd say that you'd need time manipulation and the use of a super move. RE: Quick Questions II - Daniel - 01-09-2017 with the right move, it's plausible. But you'd still need Time manipulation and, depending on what the move can do, a whole bunch of other powers/ profs. Also, it probably won't be that fast (the speed of which would be dependent on the move being used and, probably, your TEC). RE: Quick Questions II - Clownpiece - 01-09-2017 What would be a good estimate for how much a tier 1 super with the buff proficiency could raise a person's stats by, if such a thing is even allowed? It says buff can increase stats in conjunction with a super but I've yet to find an example to use. I believe that question can be answered riiiight here: http://omniverse-rpg.com/omnifaq.php#Q20 RE: Quick Questions II - Illidan Stormrage - 01-10-2017 Could Illidan formally ask Count Dracula for assistance (in whatever form that would be) for his upcoming assault of Darkshire? As an (the only PC Prime?) officer of Dracula's forces, I thought there might be some favour that could be placed. RE: Quick Questions II - Amaterasu - 01-10-2017 I'm considering to swap out Sabrina, in favor of a non-Pokemon character. Because I don't want to abandon her however, I was considering the following: Due to some circumstance (possibly an attempted assassination with banishment by the Pokemon Liberation Front) Sabrina has to lay low for a while, and to do so takes on an entirely new identity, becoming an OC but keeping her moves, powers etc. within the limits of NPC Prime spent OM, effectively freeing the "Sabrina" character up for anyone interested, without dropping the character. My question is, would this be permissible? Second question: If I swap out Sabrina (or Ammy) my OM for that character would decrease beneath level 5 - would I still be allowed to keep my 3rd character, despite not meeting the requirements any longer? RE: Quick Questions II - Daniel - 01-10-2017 I'm going to say no on the first question. All you're really doing is changing a name and keeping the character as a prime NPC. It's not like your character was originally an OC. As for the second question, Sure. If people who earn a second character and then switch their first, dropping below the threshold, can keep their second character, then I don't see why you wouldn't be able to keep your third. |
