@Sage: Fair enough. I wasn't trying to cheat the system or anything with my Ebony thread since it wasn't graded originally. Like, I wouldn't resubmit something that got great in the hopes of exemp, or something with no quality bonus in the hopes of getting one again or getting an improvement to a previous grading. I was just looking for a stamp saying 'you dun kinda gud' and a bit of OM, since I'm genuinely pretty proud of it.

I judge this thread to be worthy of an exemplary bonus! Because it was simultaneously kinda funny, but also serious. And a genuinely good read. Any writing errors were sparse.

I got a different character/word count here. Are you sure you counted spaces? Either way, my numbers were 7166 words / 40704 characters (with wordcounter.net). Your writing was awesome, especially the dialogue, but my main irk is that there are occasional random spaces in your writing. Like a double space between two words seemingly at random, and a space before a comma on occasions. Outside of that, I didn't spot any recurring 'mistakes'.
Anyway, I judge this worthy of a great bonus (the highest one you're eligible for based on word count).

I'd strongly advise not to use the site counter since:
A) The word and character counts include bb code (so making something in italics will increase it - and we want word/character counts without the code).
B) It doesn't count spaces. And we need the character count with spaces.
The site counter is nice for guessing roughly how big your post is while you're writing, but not for any official numbers.
Just copy paste it all into wordcounter.net or something like that next time (or into gdocs or word) and you'll be good.

Admittedly, I wrote Viola so I did participate in this thread. But, I really enjoy Kumoko's writing. He did a good job with this, so I'm awarding Kumoko a great bonus. (The reason for Viola's lower wordcount is that some of her posts were in the Kopaka+Dawn vs Pennywise thread - although Kumoko was reacting to them. So I'd Kumoko does deserve the participation bonus on all his posts.)

Despite what I said earlier about being more tentative, I am going to grade this thread exemplary (both Desman and Ash). You've got the content, quality, and wordcount easily.
