Ancient AMVs - Guu - 10-25-2014
I was looking up very old AMVs for nostalgia's sake, and I thought I'd share some in case there are any youngin' on this board who was just a little sprout back when AMVs were the slightest bit relevant.
Hare's Mom
This AMV actually introduced me the anime Guu came from, so maybe in an alternate universe where I didn't see this, I would have been playing a completely different character.
The AMV used the song "Stacy's Mom" by Bowling for Soup, with the male Hare as Stacy and Guu as the hound dog out for Hare's mom. It is superbly cut and hilarious. My favorite part is when the entire jungle joins in towards the end!

Why do Bowling for Soup songs make such fun AMVs? This one mainly uses clips from Azumanga Daioh, but really, it takes from so many things. The best parts are when the song references real world songs and movies, they'd cut to video game and anime references, like U2 suddenly becomes Mewtwo.
Wizard of Ozaka
And I saved the best for last! Made by the guy who made the last AMV, this is a retelling of the Wizard of Oz, but using locations and characters from all over anime. I don't dare spoil anything, just watch.

I like horror. Last night I was showing a friend a couple of my favourite horror shorts. First this one. Do NOT watch this before bed. It is incredibly simple and brilliantly exploits everybody's first world paranoia. As a result, I would never show this to anyone I knew was easily scared
Secondly, this one based on a true story written on reddit about a guy who liked to take strolls in the middle of the night and an encounter that made him stop doing that.
