Doesn't bother me to leave it on a credit card till after the event and pay it off. Won't cost me a dime in the long run. If you want to pay half and we split the proceeds at the event that's cool too.

As soon as Vi or I know for sure, which obviously still won't be until early August, we will pay our cost.

Yep, only issue is we probably won't have a definitive price per person till the week of or thereabouts. A lot of people said they can only RSVP last minute.
