RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Jack Darby - 04-03-2018 Once he had tried some of the admittedly delicious jerky, Rafael decided it was time she learned what Energon was. A shard of Energon was created by him and showed to her. "This is Energon. It is the lifeblood of Cybertronians, creations of Primus, the brother of Unicron. Unicron and Primus are enemies, and his being inside me was the result of one of the creations of Primus using Dark Energon, which is essentially something Unicron created, a sort of anti matter to Energon, if you will. The two cancel each other out," began Rafael. "Energon also has other uses. For example, it could be used to power all sorts of weapons, such as the pistol you saw me wielding earlier as one of my weapons, and also acts as the fuel source of the Tablet that I used, that you saw me use." Rafael then looked down for a moment, and then sighed. "And now onto Dark Energon in greater detail. You know that Energon is the main power source of the Cybertronians, now, right?" asked Rafael, to her. "Well, Dark Energon is more of a Dark Counterpart. " Rafael dissolved the shard of energon that he had made, and then created a shard of Dark Energon. The sickening energies of Dark Energon could be felt by anyone around them. "Dark Energon is the negative Counterpart to Energon, and was the main power source of Unicron. Granted a pot shot of Dark Energon was what put Unicron inside me, before Optimus Prime forced him into dormancy in my universe. Now I have to deal with Unicron constantly wanting to rip people apart. Such as for example, those guards that were around you earlier. It grows harder and harder for me to contain Unicron, Shantotto. And without a suitable body for him to inhabit, he will not leave me. Unfortunately he believes I am the most suitable body at present for him to inhabit, namely so that he can use me as a human shield." RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Shantotto - 04-04-2018 Shantotto pulled out her journal, and waited with a small ammount of impatiance as the journam grey to its rightful size. Taking her quill and dipping it in the hidden inkwell she began to scribble down glyphs as Rafael spoke, taking each piece of information and translating it into her own cypher. "Tell me more about this shard, It is my intent to study it quite hard." She said as she drew what she pictured the structure of the shard to be. As Rafael went further into detail on the shard called energon and its counterpart dark energon. "why do people always assume dark and black are bad things.." Shantotto wondered to herself. It was always something that irked her, when people always mistook things they did not understand for evil just because of a word or name attributed to it. Shantotto sighed, stopping Rafael's lesson for just a moment as he looked down at her with a curious stare, but when she said nothing he continued his lesson to her in regards to the power that he and his pest possessed. She put the journal away and stoodup pulling a small device from inside her tunic. and looked at it once Rafael finished speaking. "Also, On one thing I must correct, its Doctor Shantotto to you. I did not spend a large portion of my life studying everything to not be adressed correctly so please make sure that you do." She said as she read the contents of her small data device. RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Jack Darby - 04-04-2018 "Alright, Doctor Shantotto," stated Rafael, trying to pacify her and prevent himself from ending up on the receiving end of whatever she had done that had affected like the Earth like that. Perhaps she had some advanced technology that could allow her to do, or was from a world with more of a fantasy origin, as it was? Rafael didn't know the answer, if he was to be completely honest. A mystery like that irked him, but he was not about to waste his time attempting to discover the answer to that. Chances are he wouldn't want to know anyway. In the future he was going to definitely increase his arsenal. Sure it was ceding to the demands of Unicron, but it was not like he had a choice in the matter. As he was now, should a more powerful Prime show up, he was most certainly doomed. To save himself from that, he knew he was going to have to add more tricks that he could use up his sleeve. RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Shantotto - 04-04-2018 Shantotto laughed. "You look perplexed boy, please allow me to enlighten you without any ploy." She said as she looked up at the face the boy weas making in regards to her magic. "I am a Black mage, a job known in Vanadiel, since the first age." she said with a grin, "I harness the powers of mana from the future presant or past, and can use them to tear my enemies asunder with a blast." She demonstrated as she used her Omnillium to create a small wind up of another tarutaru, life size and moving almost as if it was alive, the toy, which was the only word that could be used to describe the automiton. "Watch carefully." She said as she began to channel her magics into the palm of her hand. Her focus untouched through years of mental training and discipline. The toy walked around mimicing a living taru as it seemed to try to flee the impending spell. "This... is Burst" Shantotto said as three bolts of lightening materialized from above and crashed down on the panicked toy. a cloud of stone and dust erupted from the impact area as it rained down upon Rafael, and Shantotto. When the dust settled, there was molten metal and half melted gears left where the toy had once stood. "A black mage is unmatched for wreaking death from afar. In fact it is quite likely we set the bar." She said as she pulled up her device and began to type something out. It seemed like she was ignoring his words regarding him being a human shield. Being the way she was however she knew very well the importance of having a shield bearer, or a test subject to take the brunt of attack, or research. "When it comes to black mages, it should be known we are all not the same, there is not a single black mage who can compete with my fame." she said as she tucked the device away with a half finished task, whatever it was Rafael could not see. "As for the suppression and defeat of your pest, I suggest you work up your physical and mental well being to put him to the test. If he can not surpass your mind and your body, then all he will ever be is a nest. A tool you can draw upon when times are grim, Is the only purpose I can give him." She said quietly. RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Jack Darby - 04-06-2018 Overcoming Unicron was indeed possible - but his mind would need to grow a lot stronger. To that end, he had a lot to learn. Sadly, he believed he had learned all that he could from this individual. It was time they went their separate ways. How could Rafael manage this, without being rude, was the question that he was currently considering the answer to. "Wish I could do that with Unicron's energy," sighed Rafael, as he thought about what that power could do if it was in his hands. It was a truly interesting thought. RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Shantotto - 04-07-2018 Shantotto looked up as she withdrew the device once more, typing a reply on it before sliding it back into her tunic. "I am afraid the time has come for my to take off, I have an invitation an offer and it would ruse to brush it aside with a scoff." She started walking away "With that I must bid you adieu, your time of training with me is through." her words trailed off as she walked into the trees.. RE: into the woods without any red hoods - Shantotto - 04-09-2018 As Shantotto walked through the trees she found herself looking at the gateway back to the nexus, the clearing between her and it. Waddling towards the gate she found herself pulling the small data devicer from her chest pocket and checking it one last time. there had been no new replies, as such she found herself wanting to go check out this place "Nippur" as it was called. stepping back into the plain whiteness of the nexus. |
