Hey all.
So I just made my first post (and second) at the fountain. For those interested in seeing what my character is like, I already created the appropriate links which can be seen on the left side (<--) of this post.
So I'm going to try to make this short while at the same time giving you enough info to just jump into the thread (which I'll link at the end of the post) and join me for some character interaction.
So first and foremost, here's a quick summary of what's happened in those two first posts:
Alex (my character) prior to being summoned by omni, just managed to escape his flaming headquarters and terminate the assassins which were after him and his group. Managing to gather his other members, he would unfortunately come upon the other half of the group (and his co-leader/childhood friend Raven) too late, finding his friend to have died. Raven left his underlings with the reassuring words; "Don't worry, Alex will take care of everything."
So Alex took it upon himself to go get revenge upon the king which had sent the assassins after them (for more info on why that happened, who is the king, who Raven is, etc. , see his character profile) fought his men and managed to put a bullet into his skull.
Literally less than a second after this, he woke up before Omni (you guys know how the introduction goes) and found himself at the fountain. He decided to head southeast towards the Pale Moors and summoned a motorcycle, he is now heading in that direction despite having no idea other than what Omni told him of how the Omniverse works, and even that much he doesn't entirely trust.
The kind of interaction I would like;

I would prefer it if my first ever IC interaction on this site was friendly (both because it'll be my first ever and because my character is currently a complete newbie with no moves) but I'll really just let anyone jump in for the sake of interaction and see how that goes. If I die, that's my fault for letting it happen, if I get banished to the underverse, same shindig. Though I am really hoping the latter does not happen as it seems, from what I understand of it, to suck the proverbial ball sack. :evil:
The kind of post length I would hope for;
Any! Of course, due to the way OM earning works, I'd like you to give me at least something to work with, but don't worry; I'm not asking you to match the crazy length of those first two posts nor do I expect you to. In fact, I probably won't be making posts that big on the regular. It's just that this was my first and only shot at an intro on this site so I kinda went berserk on my poor old keyboard.
The kind of character I would prefer to see;
Obvious at this point but... Any! I don't care if your character is male, female, weak, strong, good, evil, w/e. Just show up and join in! :mrgreen:
Stuff you might wanna know about Alex's current situation;
At this point, Alex is still a bit shellshocked from having (in that order); watched his house burn down, seen his best friend die, murdered a king with his bare hands, been transported to another world and realized that his powers and weapons were gone.
He isn't sure how much of what Omni said is true, hasn't talked to any secondaries or primaries (PC or NPC) other than him since his arrival in the omniverse and had to figure out how the gates and omnilium work via common sense. In fact, he doesn't have a full grasp on either yet.
Right now, he is in a conflict between three ideas; the first rule of weird places you don't know (assume everyone is an asshole), the second rule of weird places you don't know (assume everyone is stronger than you) and the first rule of social interactions (those who seem weak get trampled upon). So he will be polite upon approach, but will be reticent to believe anything without proof or follow someone into something which seems like it could be a trap. He'll also act tough around the edges so as not to be perceived as weak.
One thing to keep in mind; Alex is 9'3" tall, has horns and a tail, claws, wears a leather jacket, has a cigarette between his lips and is riding a big black chopper with a horned skull on its front. He's got the "looking" tough part down, if nothing else.

For those who have been around here a while especially and are now looking to get ready for one of the void quests, I would very much like to have a partner for the endless dunes void quest. Ideal partners would be evil or indifferent to Enel's asshole ways. Someone rather subversive or subtle might be good, to balance out the Enel's loudmouth jackass personality and not clash with him too much (friction is fun, but we want to actually reach the void gate)

Seeing as how Nealaphh's original plan isn't going to work anymore, I might be willing to send it along with you to locate it. Nealaphh isn't prepared to meet Omni yet, though, so while it would help Enel get there, and remember the location for future reference, Enel would have to traverse the void on his own.

Actually, nevermind my earlier query. Does anyone (whom I can reasonably reach from the Nexus) feel like interacting with Alex?
I really just wanna get a feel for the IC community so I'm not too choosy about who I meet or how that meeting goes. I'll jump into your thread, or I can make one for us if you want. There's nobody in the thread I'm currently in (see link three posts above) so I can just close it and go literally anywhere else.

As you might have noticed on the previous page of this here topic, I currently have a very talkative NPC engaged in conversation with the Kid, just on the other side of the gate to the Endless Dunes. It would require a change of course from your heading to the Pale Moors, but I'd imagine you're more than welcome to head that way and join the party, if you are of a mind.

I think most people here will be involved in stories that will have violence, blood, and gore in them. If you can handle that in your stories, it won't be hard to find partners, but if not, it may prove difficult. Here at the Omniverse, we do have a strict policy on mature topics like rape and sex, so if that is what you are worried about, fear not, you won't come across those issues, but the violence thing will be hard to avoid. Perhaps you should be more clear on what you would like to avoid in particular and people will be more certain about whether they should join an r/p with you or not. I wish you all the best of luck in finding what you are looking for here! =D

Thanks, Sasuke! I do tolerate violence in my posts, it's just hard PG-13 curse words I would like to avoid. And that does include offensive signatures as well.
