RE: Orphan - Caira Ayryn - 05-02-2016 "What happens to a secondary if they die? And... could a secondary ever become a Prime?" RE: Orphan - Omni - 05-03-2016 "If they die, they remain dead. But as it so happens, a secondary could become a prime." Omni grinned. RE: Orphan - Caira Ayryn - 05-03-2016 Sure, she could have asked how, but Caira was now finally getting used to Omni's style and consequently, Caira had a intuitive feeling she might someday meet Omni again, though perhaps, under different circumstances. Caira grinned too now and seemed satisfied with his direct answer, it seemed her boundless curiosity had but one more question. She made sure it was her last one by going over her recovered memories in her mind before nodding to herself and finally deciding. "How old are you?" RE: Orphan - Omni - 05-03-2016 "Don't be cheeky." Omni stuck his tongue out. RE: Orphan - Caira Ayryn - 05-03-2016 She smirked. "Cheeky you say? Don't tell me I've spoiled your favorite mystery by asking about it?" RE: Orphan - Omni - 05-03-2016 For a brief second Omni's face broke into a scowl — almost imperceptible — and then, just as imperceptibly, it had taken the form of supercilious grin. "As though you would even understand the answer if I told you," he said mockingly. RE: Orphan - Caira Ayryn - 05-03-2016 Yikes. He was probably right, but Caira couldn't help but to feel punished for her curiousity. Flames hot as shame brushed against the corners of her ears, though hidden by her sleek black hair. Her violet eyes glittered luminously as she stared at him. Then it occurred to her, she had two different ages herself... At least now. It couldn't hurt, to press a little further, could it? On the other hand, he was technically the God of this world. He could, to Caira's perception, zap her into Oblivion; or worse yet, choose to steal from her what he had given other primes and herself at the beginning of her journey. Worrysome thoughts prowled in the room's silence while she thought about her options. She could let it go, she had gotten what she came here for. Asking, it was a gamble. Then again, she didn't have to look around the room to see that it was... Empty. Empty of smiling faces, aside from his own crescent shaped grin. Empty, of what she could see, of primes, though she knew she had passed that strange place on her way bounding through the clouds. the Oververse was perched in a special "corner" and hidden away behind closed doors, unspoken secrets, and void spaces. The place where Omni dwelled was empty of friends. She wondered if he could leave this room but quickly decided, whether intimidated by his lack of eyes or not, that it was not her place to ask. Caira spoke in a most sensible, respecting, and compassionate tone as she reached out to Omni, "As a girl with two pasts, I could try." RE: Orphan - Omni - 05-05-2016 "Tch. Okay, so you have two pasts. I suppose it's like that. I'm both younger than you and older than you ever likely will be." RE: Orphan - Caira Ayryn - 05-05-2016 Caira took a seat cross legged, and lent an open ear to Omni, saying nothing, for fear he may interpret it as judgemental. RE: Orphan - Omni - 05-05-2016 "Tch." Omni waved a hand dismissively. "You're too persistent, Caira Ayryn. Come back at the end of days. I can't very well tell you everything. I have a duty to neutrality, and much as I might bend the rules for my visitors, it would be breaking them to take favourites. You've already come here, touched the realm of the gods, learned more than any other. Get gone." He said it both firmly and with a mischievious grin upon his face. RE: Orphan - Caira Ayryn - 05-05-2016 The girl smirked too now. The answers lay between the lines of his words. And perhaps rather in his instruction. Omni had given her more information than she originally expected, even in his concluding thoughts, he had given away partial clues about the world, about his past, about the questions she had asked. Her violet eyes sparkled, as though she was almost amused too now. Her "persistence" was probably closer to stubbornness, but Omni had put her foible lightly on her ears, and it was not without its reward had she not asked the question. Caira considered this a compliment, higher still, that he spoke her full name. What an honor it was, to be wholly noticed by God. Confidently, for perhaps the first time, the knight of Camelot accepted his invitation, she seemed convinced that Omni generally honored his promises, "Alright, I'll come back at this... 'End of Days' but you'll have to give me a sign as to when." The girl paused. In the blink of an eye, she thought about her past. Her home world was safe, and she had escaped, albeit again, from the tyranny of her parents... Maybe someday she could go back there and defeat them, liberate the worlds enslaved. But not today, no, Caira knew from below her skin that she was not strong enough for that, even if she somehow did get transported back as an immortal prime, which she highly doubted. Here, she had privileges, but Caira couldn't help but to be curious as to what their purpose was. For a moment, the knight of Camelot gazed at the eyeless, white, naked silhouette of Omni, "Wait a moment... As a thank you," Caira took the time to summon something that after the shimmer of opaque shimmer of Omnillium, glowed brightly in her hand. A present. It was a small, coruscant blue star, about the size of her face. In her world, it was a delicacy, to be eaten. Caira's humanoid body favored it to food. Even if Omni did not eat it, it was blue, like he had said he liked and he could let it hang next to him for a while, or disperse the OM. Still, she thought it was a gesture of good will, and she stood up to hold it out to him and it hung in the air mysteriously next to him, she did not need to know what he'd do with the gift, but she stepped a few more feet away from Omni and said, "Okay, I'm ready. Send me back, to the edge of the dunes, as I have a friend waiting for me." She then laughed to herself, and wondered if Omni had any clue that Caira considered a talking lizard her friend. To go back to the Omniverse and to gaze at it with new eyes. Yes. Caira was ready to go home. RE: Orphan - Omni - 05-05-2016 Omni grinned. He almost looked like he was going to say something. Then he was gone, replaced by the stifling heat of the Dunes. Quote:Caira has received 1000 OM. |
