RE: Quick Questions II - Guilmon - 08-01-2016

If I purchase a Move during a solo thread, I can use it right away, right?

During a Thread with others, could I use it if everyone says it's okay?

RE: Quick Questions II - Mark - 08-01-2016

Correct on both counts. For some judged fights though, there's a policy that you can't buy and use things in the middle. Typically it's outright stated by the judge but if not explicitly stated, I'd bet on that.

Telekinetic strength is based off ATK and can be used to justify shields/walls/barriers. Do these barriers still work off the characters ATK stat or do they run off the DEF stat?

Thanks!

That can be a confusing thing, but the hard and fast rule is that shields or barriers always run off of your DEF stat. Wonky, when another application of the same power bases off your ATK, but, y'know what they say.

Is it possible to swap/abandon prime NPC's?

Yes, just shoot me a PM or post in the One-Stop Shop notifying staff. Once the character's dropped, they're gone from the Omniverse like a swapped character so make sure you think it over.

Can an assist be used to summon multiples, like hundreds of one thing?

You can have an assist that has multiple bodies (sort of like a hive of bees or something, or a horde of zombies). But remember, each body will have to add up to the power of one assist. So, for example, if you had an assist that was 3 zombies, each zombie would be 1/3 as strong as one whole zombie. but together they make up one whole zombie. so, 1000 bodies would make each body 1/1000 as strong as a single body.

If that wasn't the answer you were looking for, there's an entire rules section, full of answers, for you to read. But the section on assists and using them is Here

Moves, sure.

NPCs, No

RE: Quick Questions II - James Knight - 08-05-2016

Can you use a Debuff to Force a Transformation on someone else?

RE: Quick Questions II - Amaterasu - 08-05-2016

Yes. As an example, Buu (an example character) had the ability to turn people into candy with his beam.

Does the speed restriction stack when using Shapeshift and Alternate Form at the same time? Eg. I shapeshift into Pidgeot as Ditto, and change into an Alt Form with high ATK/SPD, does step 1 take three seconds, and then step 2 takes another three?

RE: Quick Questions II - Schwi Dola - 08-05-2016

Could any given secondary have moves equivalent to super moves such that it would be a super move if TBG mimicked it?

Yes!

I don't think so. Not unless they were someone's Assist with a special super move written up and approved. Then, of course, you would have to pay SP to mimic the move.

Yes!

That seems a little restrictive. Would there be a way to handle that, maybe through a Move?

RE: Quick Questions II - Daniel - 08-06-2016

No

RE: Quick Questions II - Lord Dominator - 08-06-2016

Could you buy a Super Utility to help speed up the process? Obviously this would cost SP, but paying 1 SP to combine two transformation-type abilities together might be a good example of what they are (I haven't been able to find any examples of super utility moves).

Alternatively, are you sure you need to use both shapeshifting and alternate form? If you define each alternate form with a particular pokemon I think you should be okay to just swap between them, and then use shapeshifting for 'extra' pokemon within that archetype (for instance, you might have alternate form 'Pidgeot' for your flying pokemon stat set, which lets you become Pidgeot in 3 seconds, and if you wanted to become a Fearow that would take another three seconds). Alternate Form includes some shapeshifting leeway by default doesn't it?

In other words, I think you could reverse the order of the powers you are using and reduce some of the worries? And if I'm wrong I'd like staff to clarify!

Do I have to mark "entrance into the Rebellion" in my Roster, or can it be assumed I have completed Imperial Disarray by simply owning the Rebel Comm. Key(which I have under Unlocks)?

It's never wrong to list it to be fully clear.
