Notes -> I expected Whirda to be the ‘odd one out’ in this fight given the context, but I think you managed to do a decent job trying to warp the situation to suit her needs, especially the drama near the climax of the fight. The Bepis character is a hoot, as are the Pepsi side-effects. I almost wish you would have just had Whirda full succumb to the nonsense (Pepsi jokes aside, because even those are done in a very Whirda-esque fashion). As always, from a technical standpoint, you writing is sound. You had the edge here, but I felt like your previous fight was a step above this (may be the effect of being shoe-horned into a wrestling ring, you dagger-reliant shrubbery). Whirda is very drow-like. You should consider playing a character like Drizzit. He’s a p dec drow.

Notes -> Sometimes I forget that Yuuka’s a lady whose supposed to be ‘passed her prime’, so it’s amusing when I get little bits like the remark about her stretch marks as she sagged on the turnbuckle ropes. You did one of the better jobs manipulating the format to your needs without giving up anything that makes Yuuka ‘Yuuka’, which was fun to see. Take away the demon plant stuff, and there’s probably a nice sitcom in there (but it’s got to be one of those dreary sitcoms like ‘Louie’ or something).

Notes -> The ‘promo in the middle of a match’ was out of left field but some of the zaniness you’d imagine in a high drama main-event matchup. I don’t think you’ll be offended if I state that you had a technical disadvantage relative to everyone else in the match, but it wasn’t as jarring as a lot of stuff I’ve read from people with English as a first language so there’s that. There’s also some weird irony, because Hulk Hogan was just reinstated from being banned from WWE for a few years.

And a lot of it is the little stuff—the changing of people’s goofy names and the general naivety blended with the occasional mouse beat down. I’m getting really hard-pressed to pinpoint another writer who I think manages to have so much of their character’s personality/voice ever-present in their writing. It’s hard to tell where Jacob ends and Mickey starts. The mouse really seems like your soul mate.[/spoiler]
