If I run into a situation where there is a stalemate and asking for additional votes may not resolve the situation, I am left with using my own judgment to break the stalemate. In this particular case, since you were the only one who both nominated and voted, I decided to take into account the fact that your original intent was to vote for yourself and broke the tie in your character's favour.

I know that seems rather arbitrary, but in cases like these, I don't have much of a choice.
