Finn looked at the glowing red egg as they began to make their way away from the ruins. If they could hardly be called so even, a pile of crbled rocks and the distant roar of the fully grown phoenix below. The alchemist gave a sigh or relief as McNinja stood proudly. Before they took the first few steps back to home.
Finn examined the markings, tracing them wirh his finger, feeling the warmth of it, before setting it softly in his bag. He looked back at the doctor, a wide smile on his face. "Thank you for assisting me with this. I have some spare omnilium that I was able to find in some ruins from a prime in a permanent coma, so I believe that will suffice for a reward."
Dr.McNinja nodded as they walked through the dense jungle back to the road, before stopping for a moment. "We don't have to go through the tentacle plant again, do we?" He asked with a raised brow, in a tone more of dread than worry. He would rather not have to deal with that all over again.
"I'm with you on that doc, I know a shortcut through the trees, we can alert the Ambrosian Guard as well once we arrive, those things usually avoid the roads."
"Sounds good to me." The doc said with a sigh of relief. They continued their trip as Finn led them through his shortcut.

"So Finn, what kind of magic was it that you used back with the phoenix?" McNinja asked once they arrived at the alchemist's shack.
The alchemist tilted his head in though in thought before answering. "Its an adaptation of the magic i once knew in my own world. I managed to learn enough to be able to cast simple spells but not much else. I can adjst the temperature of my body and the area around it, as well as adapt my body to be more accepting of certain mixtures like the water one. It allows my lungs to absorb water, like gills. I know a few more, but I'll save them as a surprise next time doc." He chuckled as the door opened. Down they went as Finneas moved between the experiments in his lab, before reaching a small nestlike contraption and setting the egg down. With a short encantation he poured some fiery red potion down in a badin below it, his hand glowing red as team and heat rose to the egg.
"Have to keep it alive, else it would go dormant. Now, as for your reward." He moves over to a box and digs through it. McNinja can only assume it was what he scavenged from the said prime, as the box read "dead prime stuff". He rolled his eyes before Finneas returned with a handful of omnilium. "Im sure you can make more use of it than I. I shall be contacting you again doctor, if there are any developments with the phoenix egg. Again, thanks for the help." Hespoke with a smile as the ninja with the PhD took his reward with a nod.
"Until next time..."
McNinja had the feeling that it wouldnt be long before something would come up, waving add he excited the shack.
