Somewhere deep down in the Underverse, Diablo's chillin' on his throne, picking his nose and such, when an underling comes up to him.
"Mister Diablo, Sir! Our recent reports show that our demon army is ready to destroy the entirety of Coruscant if we were to attack now. We could likely take a big chunk out of Camelot too, and you could just resummon our losses afterwards! Now is a great time to attack!"
*Diablo scratches his head, thinking*
"Hmm. I know I am able to send people back to the surface world, I am able to create portals so I could just invade the Omniverse and destroy everyone. Maybe... let's see."
*checks Agenda*
"Monday's torturing rebel demons... Tuesday I got a date with a hot succubus... Wednesday I took a day off... bah, I'll do it some other year. Not like Coruscant is going anywhere."
*picks nose some more*

A weapon that fires explosive ammunition which hits in a wide area is less efficient than a pistol firing normal bullets at the same rate of fire.
You can make a wet paper towel into a move which is as lethal as a gun.
A dagger designed to be used for killing people will do about the same damage as a well-used kitchen knife.

Empire hasn't conquered Camelot because medieval (cross)bows and steel swords clearly outmatch laser rifles and lightsabers. DUH :derp:

In order to wield a shotgun that can fire pellets up to 10 ft away you need the same training as you do to wield a sword (Phys Str).
On the other hand, if that shotgun fires pellets 13+ ft away you better have ranged weapons training (Ranged Prof).
