Re: Nanowrimo - Dark Link - 10-13-2015

After hearing about this event for the first time recently, I'm actually considering participating. However, it might be too late for me to come up with a coherent and planned out idea in time for this year's NaNoWriMo. Plus, I have a lot of things to do in the upcoming period (both in real life and in the Omniverse) and I'll probably even be absent on the first of November.

I'll give it some thought and see if I can somehow manage it. I'd love to give this a shot, since I could use the challenge.

Re: Nanowrimo - Zack Fair - 10-14-2015

First I've ever heard if this. It sounds really cool, and I might join in if I can think of something.

Re: Nanowrimo - Proto Man - 10-14-2015

I still plan to try this.

Re: Nanowrimo - Trixie - 10-14-2015

I still plan to try as well.

That's my profile. Add my as a pal, yo.

Anyone who wants to give this a go should register an account. You can already add your novel information if you have the idea.

No pressure, by the way. I will probably fail miserably, but it's the thought and (some actual) effort that counts in the long-run. So join me. Maybe you can succeed where I (probably) can not.

I have some ideas, but I usually do short stories, so I'm trying to figure out what makes a storyline "last" in the longrun

Re: Nanowrimo - Jak Mar - 10-19-2015

blueeyedwoman if you want to add me on there. Wish me luck.

Re: Nanowrimo - Gamzee Makara - 10-20-2015

Here I be, let's get this done!

Re: Nanowrimo - Dark Link - 10-29-2015

The official Omniverse NaNoWriMo Skype Group is go! If anyone who hasn't been invited to it yet wishes to join, the link is here: https://join.skype.com/iRYjUCZCVPi2

Also, here's my profile in case anyone wants to add me as a pal. Yes, I do love making up pseudonyms, how did you know? In any case, I'll be adding everyone else shortly.

Only two days left 'till it begins. I'll be starting late, since I won't be home when the event launches. Furthermore, I'll still be giving priority to any Omniverse stuff, since that's more important. Nevertheless, I'd still like to take a crack at this, since I could use the practice. Ultimately, even if I fail, it should be an illuminating experience.

Re: Nanowrimo - Blink - 10-30-2015

Vi and I are participating. I'm RebbySc.

Re: Nanowrimo - Trixie - 10-31-2015

Do we want to have a thread there to discuss as well? It might seem excessive, but I'm thinking more along the lines of free advertisment rather than anything else.

Day 1. Words were forged. Blank pages were conquered.

29 more days remain in the quest to 50,000

Ever Vigilant.

Re: Nanowrimo - Magus - 11-01-2015

Didn't do shit today. Comic convention and Black Mage fight. Progress will need to be hella forged tomorrow.

I shall add an inspirational quote I saw today at work.

"Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning." -Gloria Steinem

Re: Nanowrimo - Magus - 11-04-2015

Ouch. 6,600 words in, realized this story wasn't going anywhere. Wasn't having fun writing it.

Switching gears. Gonna try to put down the story I've always wanted to tell since I was 14. Always been afraid I'll fuck it up/that it was too cliched. No better time than now to find out, I guess.

Re: Nanowrimo - Proto Man - 11-11-2015

Day 11.

All is dark. Par has slipped from my fingers for the last 72 hours. The crush of 'irl' and its heaps of poorly done biology assignments weighs heavily on my soul. My companions have drifted into darkness, and I know not where they are. They have my prayers as I continue to fumble onward toward the final destination. I trust in their fortitude and vigilance.

I will reach the light again or burn out in a glorious super nova.
