Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 09-27-2013 My alternate form will be inspired by zero suit in terms of manoeuvrability but will appear more like the slimmed-down suit from Fusion. I won't be using the zero suit, the whole skin-tight-thong thing is just ... too fanservicey. I hate it. I appreciate it only for the cosplays that resulted (my penis and rock-hard sense of internal consistency were at odds, then). Her undersuit from Fusion was form-fitting but classy. After all these amazing ideas, I was actually considering taking the Zero Laser as a basic Tier 1 Super Move, so I can take the others as more advanced stuff. Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Illidan Stormrage - 09-28-2013 Break into the Zero Suit, and then the Birthday Suit. All male characters are stunned for a long duration. Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 09-17-2014 BRINGING IT BACK. Enel is an update away from level 2. Any super move ideas? I'm thinking he shoots someone with lightning. Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Shiro - 09-17-2014 maybe he does the lightning tigers from the show? they seemed powerful enough to warrant a super move :/ Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 09-17-2014 Going off that, I'd probably have the Lightning Bird as his tier 1. Then tiger, then dragon. Though they'd also be good as remote-control things or summons. Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Albert Wesker - 09-17-2014 Not exactly an original idea for one, but there's always his El Thor move. Giant-ass laser of concentrated electricity that could vaporize wood and stone and that he used on a very frequent basis seems like a good start for a Super Move. Not sure what Tier it would be. There's also his Raigou/Kingdom Come for a higher-tier move. Or....Deathpiea or whatever it was called. Silly multiple names. Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 09-17-2014 Most of the stuff from the show I already have listed (in a big-ass topic in my private forum). Tier Four is obviously spoken for.
Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Shiro - 09-17-2014 i suppose, however to me they seemed a bit too powerful for regular moves due to the fact that they sort of fried a fair amount of people in one go... Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 09-17-2014 Here's what I have there: El Thor (overhead (Ranged Materialize) and direct versions) Lightning Illusions/Clones Goro Goro Gladius Goro Goro Shield Golden Sword Golden Spear Golden Trident Golden Orb (same as used against Luffy) or as a trap, 'Molten Gold' Deathpia (raining down lightning) could also use the name Mamaragan which was for the world-destroying version Raigo (giant ass ball of lightning made with Maxim and Enel's powers) Hino (Thunder Bird) Kiten (Thunder Tiger) Julungul (Thunder Dragon) Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Albert Wesker - 09-17-2014 Well that right there is a pretty good list of moves you got for him. Might could do something with him stabbing someone with one of his bladed weapons and then blasting the poor sap with so much voltage they get blasted off, or pierced with a giant blade of lightning or some such. Or maybe could do something where he turns into lightning and anyone who touches him gets a zap. More powerful than his current static electricity move, of course. Not sure if that would warrant a Super Move, though. Re: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 09-17-2014 For turning into lightning I first need malleability and disassemble and flight. Well, not necessarily all at once. But I definitely want malleability. RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 04-07-2016 Missiles (ranged, homing, area attack) Samus's suit can store up to (her level x5) missiles at once, after which they are depleted. She can summon new missiles by standing still and focusing - this replenishes her missiles at a rate of one per second. Missiles are a little slow, slower than an arrow, but can be fired at a rate of one per second. They hit with a satisfying 'bang', like taking a haymaker to the face from someone a bit stronger than Samus. Samus can charge her standard missiles with a homing effect, but this takes an extra second, reducing the rate of fire to one every two seconds. These homing missiles don't track perfectly and can be dodged with some effort. Super Missile By charging up for a couple of seconds, Samus can create a missile that is much faster and more explosive than a standard missile, moving as fast as an arrow. This 'Super Missile' costs five missiles from her stock. Magma Missile More of a mortar than a missile, these heavy packages fire in an arc, but can still be fired rather long distance (maximum 100 meters on equal-level-terrain). They are slow and can be fired only once every two seconds. When they hit the ground or a target, they 'splash' into a type of special 'digital magma', up to five meters across. This magma stays molten for up to five minutes, after which time it bubbles into nothingness, leaving behind only scorched ground. Step in it and you'll feel pain. A magma missile costs two missiles from Samus's stock. RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Crocodile - 04-07-2016 Enel should have a Pikachu style move where he summons lightning from the sky and causes bolts to rain down on his foe. Samus needs the Hyper Beam upgrade from the end of Super Metroid. RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Crocodile - 04-07-2016 And the Super Bomb is always good. RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Sarah Kerrigan - 04-11-2016 Lightning sheet: Enel uses his advanced knowledge of electricity to fire a sheet of controlled lightning, with the end result looking similar to this: [spoiler] Using it similar to any other bolt technique, the attack strikes and burns through even the strongest defenses with the power that only a god can provide. As for Super moves for samus, the diffusion missile immediately comes to mind, but ignoring that, and based off of the infamous old cheat: Disintegrator: Samus overrides her suit's natural restrictions, before combining the spazer and plasma protocol with her natural power beam, the result, at the cost of inefficient suit energy usage, is a rapid-fire volley of wide tongues of plasma that can bake an unprepared opponent to ash in a matter of seconds. RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 04-12-2016 Those are some cool ideas. I actually have a bomb/super bomb in progress. I was originally gonna have super bomb be a remote controlled exploding morph ball. Smith: Hyper Beam is basically just Power Beam in Hypermode, so I'll have that
RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Tearen Wover - 04-12-2016 Ice Spreader? Flame Thrower? Wave Buster? Oh that's right, you hate Metroid Prime. Maybe a grapple move to get an execution shot to the head? RE: Original Super Move ideas for Samus - Omni - 04-12-2016 Hate Metroid Prime?! I love it! I just have some cooler ideas that fit the setting more. This is my grand 'move ideas' list actually: I'm probably gonna rework this, but this is my old Bomb description: Bombs (Ranged) Samus can summon sticky blue bulbs of energy that can be thrown or attached to objects. There are two modes. The first is proximity mode, whereby the bomb will explode the moment anyone comes within three feet of it, excepting Samus or any allies she has designated as friendly. The second is timer mode, where a bomb will explode five seconds after it is released from Samus's suit. These explosions are light and serve mainly as knockback, easily taking a foe off-balance to leave an opening for another attack. These bombs are bright blue and are easy to spot; however they are silent and almost weightless. If it lands on someone's back, they may not even notice until it explodes. They can be ripped off and attached to other objects. Samus can only have three bombs in existence at once. After using ten bombs her bomb system will take ten minutes to recharge. Others: Persistent Beam ('Buzz Beam') A persistent beam of energy roughly one meter in length. It is a quick to activate, toggle-able setting on Samus’s arm cannon. In many ways it is closer to a chainsaw than it is a sword, as the beam’s energy will ‘buzz’ upon contact with a target, though it cannot cut through most other weapons excepting those not designed for melee combat. It takes a small portion of energy to maintain. The main downside is that it cannot be used at the same time as other beam weapons. Zero Pulse A multi-purpose upgrade to Samus's suit that allows her to fire a pulse of energy from either her hands or through her boots. Fired at smallish projectiles, this sends them rebounding away or otherwise halts their momentum entirely, though it is only effective at short range (within about ten feet). Alternately, the pulse can be used to halt Samus's own momentum, even in mid-air. For example, when she needs to stop or turn quickly. Zig-zagging is possible by using the Zero Pulse in succession. While the Zero Pulse is very fast, it is ineffective on larger projectiles, beam attacks or melee attacks as these have too much momentum, though it can serve to blunt the damage somewhat if no other defensive options are available. Visor Beam! Perfect for while grappling. Detachable arms/legs with boosters? Another great thing if grappling, to get someone out of melee range. Sending suit to cover someone else and trap them, iron man 3 style. Then it cuts off oxygen/life support? Or otherwise locks limbs to disallow locomotion, allowing her to escape. Obviously this leaves both her and the suit vulnerable. Shinespark Super Speed, Burst Movement and Kinetic thingy. Should be a free upgrade. Magma Missiles (Area denial) Ice Missiles (Causes slippery areas) Electro Grapple Wavebuster (homing, chargeup) Flamethrower Grapple Lasso - for debilitating Barrier Beam - Concentrated/Wide Gatling Beam (wide) Scatter Beam (close-range) 'Rifle' Beam (low rate of fire, high damage) Plasma? Rain (Gatling Beam) Plasma beam - close-range, focused, like a blowtorch Wave Beam (passes through objects) Diffusion Beam (charge beam that explodes upon impact, diffusing into many bouncing beams) Boom Blocks Kinetic Discharge (Screw attack) Hologram Turret Mine (bomb) Thermo Palm Remote-Control Morph Ball (with bombs, obvs. Super bomb IS the morph ball) 900 OM Ice Beam Remote Morph Ball (lays bombs for Samus) Wavebuster Yeah ... my topic needs organisation badly. I just wanted to get a few newer, funner, more-interesting-to-write moves before picking up the old staples of 'missiles' and 'bombs' ![]() And I wanna hold some back for my Ship Assist and Commandramon assist (whenever the fuck I reach the Dataverse). |
