Same question as above, but replace Mami with Doomguy.
The Mami fight really didn't do much to hamper you in the long run.
Had the finale happened after Samus' died, you probably would have wound up in actual 6th place.

I think that eventually the three of you would have been mobbed, so it's hard to say. Jak could have survived a group fight but would have died in the next one, much like he did while travelin' alone.

So many other variables at play in that situation, but I feel like more health would have given DP an edge, but I think Mickey came away with more from that violent exchange, in-character, than DP did (although the later scene with Mickey's hand had me laughing more than it should have).
If you two had been healthier and DG would have been more messed up, there may have been a shuffling between 2nd and 4th place.

1) The sudden lack of and struggle for internet really hurt me didn't it?
2) After the DP/Samus/Gil Sas and others fight, had I waited on 18/DG, would I have been in the finale? Or been killed off before the start?
3)Aside from the internetlacking thing, think I ever made a mistake?

I imagine that the F2F would have been something like...
Samus, Gildarts, Mickey, Luffy vs Strazio, Gilgamesh, DP, Sasuke (although who knows who else Nu Bab could have roped into that... Retane? DG?)
At that stage in the game, Samus, Mickey, Sasuke, and DP would have walked away from that one.

1.) You got lucky that no one killed you, because you would have been either dead or maimed had you been attacked while you didn't have internet.
2.) I think your timer would have expired before the Finale
3.) I think you should have hung onto Jack for longer, and you should have kept the binoculars.

I think he got the better part of your arrangement, and if you'd Furby'd him, you would have still had to deal with Samus in the finale.
Had you sat out, Samus and Mickey still would have lost but both would have walked away with less injuries.

Sorry, in my head I was reading that as 'Link and I' rather than just 'I'.
Had you avoided that last Easter Egg, you probably could have made it to the Finale (or perhaps that last string of pre-finale deaths), as you would have had the dragon to keep you afloat a little longer.
