Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Gildarts - 05-09-2015

Oh >.< for some reason I had thought you were up. I'm sorry. If you want me to I can make one up but you're probably in motion with one already.

Edit: I'll start one up right now, just in case

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Caira Ayryn - 05-09-2015

SN: In case it isn’t clear, Caira’s roughly looming over the both of them in the air (basic senses). She used basic jump which may have some negative backlash of speed because of his deployed miasma. Caught in the air w/ slower resistance, not to mention that if he saw her coming she wouldn’t have anything to dodge against, except to deploy the move she was charging. As for the move, choose whichever you think fits the situation. I imply that it might be the rope one because Caira can’t be certain through the smog that it’s magus she’ll land on. Unless she were to deploy the wind move.

(*Whispers* the ultimate glomp is the one no one sees coming xD)

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Magus - 05-18-2015

Was a good post Caira. Meant to say that back when you actually posted it. Looking forward to TBG's.

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 05-18-2015

I'll try not to take too much longer ^^;

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Gildarts - 05-18-2015

Wow, thanks Magus, that means a lot coming from you ^.^

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Magus - 05-30-2015

So hungry for the next post. I get that DA is your priority; is all good. Just wondering if there's a vague ETA(?)

Been loving the DA stuff btw. Not to get too off-topic but wow. It's been amazing.

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Caira Ayryn - 05-30-2015

Heeeeeeeyyyy Magus! Desco said she was working on it.

Hell yes, da is amazing, I'm addicted, it's my drug.

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 06-01-2015

-noodle arms-

DA keeps getting my attention when I need to give this thread a little.

On which post has the fight actually started on for the official judging?

Before I Post, I really need Magus's profile updated with all of the moves he has and the descriptions they were approved with.

I can't mimic a move that I don't know what it actually does. Probably going to mimic Shadow Step but I realized I have no idea what it is supposed be doing.

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Gildarts - 06-01-2015

Magus's post may 2nd

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Magus - 06-02-2015

That's fair. I'll try to add them in the next couple days; I'll post here when I do. What few moves Magus has (I think there's only 3) are pretty straight-forward with the possible exception of Shadow Step. But yeah, I'll update asap.

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 06-03-2015

Mostly I want shadow step to stop you from getting to Caira :p

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Gildarts - 06-03-2015

Caira is on the pounce

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 06-08-2015

I am impatient now that i have time to post so I pulled everything out of the old move approvals.

Duskstrike (Ranged Proficiency): By either waving his hand or raising it against an opponent, Magus manifest and propel a ball of shadow energy which explodes on contact. The burst is not particularly powerful, but it can be amplified if Magus takes the time to draw more energy into it (up to roughly 30 seconds).

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=130&p=1863&hilit=Magus#p1882

Miasma: (Wide Proficiency, Debilitate Proficiency) In an effort to play to his strengths, Magus can tap into his power in order to manifest a thick, magical haze with several unique and dangerous properties.

First, the haze is so thick it obscures the battlefield, making it almost impossible to see more than a few feet in any direction, but it doesn't appear to impede Magus in any way.

Second, the haze is pervasive. It starts off as just minor aches and a slight feeling of exhaustion, as if the victim's simply gone too long without sleep. But the longer one spends in the Miasma, the worse the feeling gets, until quick movements or physical and mental exertion become significant chores. The aches begin to feel steadily worse, and the victim starts to feel horribly, horribly ill.

The effect doesn't cause any actual damage, but the sluggish, weak feeling can definitely be a hindrance in combat. Again, this effect seems lost on Magus, who can stand at the epicenter of the haze and experience nothing.

The haze extends in a roughly circular radius around Magus, but appears to come from nowhere as it is manifested. It can extend to a maximum of roughly 100 feet, and is dark, inky black, with tinges of purple and blue.

Shadow Step

Magus channels his powers from an immaterial plane of existence overflowing with negative energy. But the channel is not a one-way street. With some concentration, Magus can send himself through the channel, and slip between planes, seemingly vanishing from existence in the material plane. This places Magus in a shadowy, distorted version of reality which he can travel through before slipping back into the material plane. The effect appears as teleportation - he can disappear from one place and show up in another, and can seem instantaneous, as time moves much more slowly in the immaterial plane.

Magus can also 'hide' in this plane, but the Black Wind, a strange metaphysical force that few can experience, is much stronger here. Even for someone as experienced as Magus, the Black Wind can wear him down, twist his mind and body, leave him doubtful, tired, sickly, even mad. For this reason, Magus cannot resist its effects for more than ten minutes, or one minute in the material plane (or Verse), without succumbing to them. Even then, strange forces exist in and beyond the warped shadows - every use of Shadow Step is a potentially fatal one.

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 06-08-2015

I will use my Super Move in the next round

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 06-08-2015

Toybox Girl is going to become immune to Miasma learning it from Magus as knowing it makes 'him' immune to it.

If you have issue with this I can modify it. Either way doesn't change TBG's actions too much, but does change the words surrounding them.

The alternative would mean that TBG could be affected by his as much as he is affected by her copy of it.

Information collective - Gildarts - 06-08-2015

Wow tbg this looks great !

I should also mention Caira has Time manip, no moves applied yet but just putting that stray thought out there.

PAUSE

Magus will have issues with it but technically I can't imagine there's any reason you wouldn't also receive immunity from it by "knowing" the move. Could use it as a surprise; he'll be expecting you to be sick, heh. Unless a mod steps in (and I can't imagine they will), go ahead and run with your idea. Sounds interesting.

I like it too because it gives you time to square off and makes the 2 on 1 have more strategy and less gangin'

Re: Bounty Hunt Caira and Toybox Girl vs Magus - Schwi Dola - 06-09-2015

Omni suggested I did go ahead with immunity :p
