They still carry it and use it as currency.

I think they mostly use bartering in that case. Trading goods for other goods. Not really any precedent for an official currency in any Verse.

No. If something happens to your character and that triggers a memory that you want to write in and use as a flashback, then that is fine (just mark is as such). But most of your writing in the Omniverse should be about your character in the Omniverse.

If a character was once taken, but then switched out for another, is the disgarded character then open for play, or does it become a Site NPC?

The character is open, but any new instances of that character are considered to be completely separate from the previous iteration (that is, hailing from a different continuity, and lacking previous knowledge of the Omniverse). Characters only become site NPCs if they've become widely renowned or otherwise indispensable to the setting.

There's no minimum. We currently have a few accounts that are 2 characters in length and I just tested a 1-character name. You should be fine.

So I've pretty much decided to switch characters. Zenith was cool in concept, but requires far too much planning and solo work. Sadly, I still have a couple weeks (not even two) before I can switch out. Question is, can I still go through the preliminaries, such as work-shopping moves?
