Legacy and War was handled perfectly. As this is now and the Super Attack vs Super Attack being same is fine with me.

I meant to update the rules ages ago and it's been sitting in the staff room for ages, but I just went ahead and updated the super attack rules for less randomness. The default rules should thus be satisfactory to all now.

Maybe this isn't the right thread exactly but its the topic at hand. Stats affect Super Moves now, so how does that affect this? I mean, we could have 10 Atk Tier 1 Super Moves thrown against a 0 Atk Tier 2 Super Move in the most extreme situation (and nobody has tier 3 transforms). Is there a point where your Atk Stat makes your Super Move that much superior to someone much lower than your Atk? (ie, 20 Atk Tier 1 Super Move being faced by a 0 Atk Tier 2 Super Move.)

I have just personally had bad experiences with them? I feel like if you're burning an SP it'd be good to have a reliable result.

This change doesn't really make things more or less fair in that respect. Both of these outcomes happened before, I just removed the two outcomes where one or the other side 'beat' the other randomly.

If you still wish to discuss incorporating stats into Super Attack clashes, I'd make a new topic for it.

I like the new Super Move rules. Much simpler. If others would prefer, however, we could have it where Offensive Super Moves ALWAYS hit both opponents (IE: you can't use them to defend).

I'm good with 1200 words, waiting until the weekend to start, and pretty much everything else.

Fine with a week as the limit, for the reasons stated.

By the way, I'm cool with the perameters of the fight mentioned by Omni.

1200 words sounds like a good amount. It gives more lengthy posters enough to create content. As long as posting between 400-600 words won't be a detriment to those who choose to.

And I'm cool with whatever timetable Omni and Sasuke discussed.

When, during the next two weeks, would the fight start?
Right now, but I'll take what I can get.

How long should 'calls' last? (default 2 hours, proposed 3 hrs) 
3 hrs is fine. I just hope I don't see anyone on either side conspiring and calling consistently in the last day or so to try and block out the others who haven't written. 

What should be the word count limit on posts? (default 800wds, proposed 1200 wds)
That sounds good too.

I'm also with Thaal, no random Super Move rubbish thanks.

Just curious if the rules section will be accessible before the fight kicks off.

There's a number of powers I'd like to purchase before then. I am currently able to buy them (I have -a lot- of unspent OM) so it's not like I'm trying to game the system. If nothing else can we assume that if the powers are bought "too late", as long as we have the OM available today for whatever is bought when the rules are available, that it's okay?

I just don't want to resort to guesswork or whatever.
