If he had IC plans of going there and he was in the same verse, it's really not a stretch. I'm also not gonna argue about it any more than that, so don't bother replying if you still disagree. Let the judges decide.

It does look like they started traveling at the end of 18's last post. So, yea, they're on their way. Seems odd that all these other events took place and that all of LAW will all be arriving all at once, at the same time, without coordination, but that could be a moot point. I dunno.
So then, Add 18 and Strazio to your side... I guess? Hopefully they are all so inactive that their scores actual hurt the total score of LAW =P (Hey, wishful thinking!)

Oh got'cha. If 18 doesn't come online to fight, you guys could always have her sit back and watch, like the mail lady PM is doing, however, since they are both at the scene of the fight, they could still get pulled into the fray? (I dunno about this and would like clarification.)
Strazio made it all the way to the quarter finals, had multiple fights, before Ganny D ever made it to us? Lol time is screwy here.

Can we stop the desperate attemps to question every single detail ? NB already has the advantage in numbers...yet still its not enough.
There is no need to question time because some players went inactive for a period of time....or that one person went to participate in an event which just moves along quicker. In a setting like this these things happen.
How about we stop all the pointless discussions and just let the story continue and try to create something memorable together. Thats what the maingoal of this site is anyway.

No, I'm going to keep asking questions. Questions by their very nature are not an attack on someone and no one should be getting offended by my asking them. Telling people not to ask questions is not a stance this site should every want to take....
This event is big AND important for my character. I don't see the harm in clarifying the rules for the event. Some of my questions meant nothing AND some of them changed things....
Again, there is absolutely no malice behind my questions. =/

If we're gonna play it like that, why is Demetri fighting for NB? Didn't he just flee from a direct fight AGAINST NB, and now he's fighting FOR you, and so are his allies?

Oh, i can answer this one. Basically, there is somewhat of a truce between NB and the Institute, with victor being the middle man between the two. Demetri has no IC knowledge of victor being a member when he had attacked. Though at the moment he has no reason to fight, events afterwards will bring demetri to their side, since he is in the wrong for attacking, especially with Phh there.

Like, I really super trust that all the involved parties have reasons to be there. Like, it's really not that big of a deal, outside of people coming from other verses without the supporting mechanics. Like, there really are no major flaws in logic in what is happening as of right now. Like, the fight is set. It is happening as is written. Buckle the fuck in cause this shits bout to get crazy.

So, a lot of the New Babs guys just got over a fight or two (I think?) more or less recently. Or so I hear. How will this affect their SP and Damage? Has enough time elapsed for them to recover? Or will they still be worn down from their previous encounters?

The fights we were in, were like 1 against 4 in our favor. We managed to get through them without getting any damage, however, I believe a few of us did use some SP. I'm not sure if we'd had enough time to replenish, probably not though.

Alright, I really should have done this a long time ago. As a staff member, I am officially stepping in to say that everyone should just cut it out with this charade.
When these debates started out, there were some legitimate questions raised that I'm grateful were cleared up. However, at this point, the discussion has turned into petty squabbles that are not only fruitless, but are actively harming the mood within the community. Questions are fine and there is no such thing as a stupid question, but let us not forget the fact that we're all ultimately here to relax and have some fun. If it gets to the point when organising IC events becomes annoying, tedious and more trouble than it's worth, then we've clearly lost sight of our priorities.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the fight, please contact the judge(s). The whole reason why fights have judges is so that they can act as arbiters and the ultimate authority regarding the circumstances and results of the fight. Ultimately, it is they who decide who gets to participate or who doesn't. Likewise, it is also they who decide whether or not any previous damage or depleted SP comes into play in this one. All the participants have to do is apply and come to an agreement regarding the rules of the fight and who the judge(s) is/are. The judge(s) will take care of the rest.
Any further petty arguments from this point forward will be met with disciplinary action and disqualification from the fight. I understand that this event is a big deal and we all want it to play out fairly, but let us not get caught up in trivialities. Ultimately, I think we all want the Omniverse to remain a pleasant place to be in. We should all contribute towards that, even if it means sometimes having to just roll with the punches.
