RE: Quick Questions - Handsome Jack - 04-21-2017

I don't see why not. That said, it will likely be weaker than a "regular" Super Move.

RE: Quick Questions - Jack Darby - 04-23-2017

Can you ICLy purchase a move in the form of a weapon from a Secondary, or should you just create it yourself ICLY?

RE: Quick Questions - Trixie - 04-23-2017

Yeah, that's fine. You're talking like buying a weapon from a store? Of course. Adds immersion.

RE: Quick Questions - Jack Darby - 04-23-2017

Even in the Nexus?

RE: Quick Questions - Trixie - 04-23-2017

Wandering merchants are a thing bro. Just create a valid excuse for him to be there and it'd be fine. The Nexus is a battlezone so a merchant capitalizing on new Primes and the constant battle by selling medkits and such would be normal.

Is writing moves, and getting them approved for a future character allowed?

No.

Do threads go into moderation when you edit their title? I'd assume so, but I want to make sure my thread hasn't been devoured by the html-monster.

They do indeed.

RE: Quick Questions - Kyle Crane - 04-24-2017

Okay, so, first off, just to help me remember shit...Didn't Proto-Man and Mickey end up getting fused into one account at some point(but split up later)?

And, related, though this isn't a thing I'm actually planning on doing, more a question of curiosity;

Would it be possible for such a merger to happen again, assuming all involved users are willing(maybe in special circumstances if such was how Proto-Mouse happened)?

((Perhaps now, circumstances would be different, hence why I'm asking.))

They did, yes, by way of an artefact.

And no, it wouldn't be possible, at least not without the Fusion power, and even then it would be temporary, as the power dictates.

RE: Quick Questions - Kyle Crane - 04-24-2017

I guess I should have specified better...Wasn't talking about base Fusion power, which I already knew about.

To my memory, during the Proto-Mouse fusion, they had a shared account for the duration(but maybe I'm just remembering wrong, which is known to happen)...Would such a long-term fusion be able to happen again, assuming the Artefact was retrieved?

They didn't have a shared account. They both had their account names changed to Proto Mouse and Proto_Mouse respectively, since identical account names aren't allowed thanks to the software/structure of the board.

Assuming you retrieved the artefact from its current owner, you could get the same situation, though, yes.

RE: Quick Questions - The Vision - 04-25-2017

Let's say I want to return to a previous character on a different account. Would they have the memories of the Omniverse?

In other words, if I want to bring back Dr. McNinja as a third character, could he have the memories of that first Dr. McNinja?

If I'm not mistaken, that would be possible to do, however your character couldn't have any memories from the time where you swapped them out, until the time where you reintroduce them to the Omniverse. I believe that this question is covered somewhere earlier in the thread, though.

RE: Quick Questions - Arle Nadja - 04-25-2017

Hello~! I find that my muse often gets stifled if I'm writing alone, as opposed to with a partner. So I've been seeking one for the next little branch of Arle's journey in the Omniverse. I made a post in the "Official 'Cry for Help' Thread" because the idea I had in mind was somewhat open-ended so I thought maybe making an interest check before I made a thread would be the way to go. It's been a few days though, and I'm starting to suspect I should be taking a bit more initiative.

Is there a better way I could be going about finding a writing partner? Should I be casually dropping interest checks in the shoutbox? (I'm not sure if that's appropriate for the shoutbox, so I've been hesitant to do this.) Is it important to have my open thread up already? Have I just not given it enough time or is this particular premise just a lil' uninteresting? I still consider myself very new, so it'd help a lot with my anxiety if someone could shed some light on how the process 'normally' goes. ^^

EDIT: This question was answered in the chatbox shortly after being posted

RE: Quick Questions - Tearen Wover - 04-25-2017

So are the stars the same in all the verses? Do they move? Are there 'seasonal shifts' despite all verses staying in the same climate?

Need 2 know

RE: Quick Questions - Handsome Jack - 04-25-2017

Stars exist in all 8 "main" Verses and the Astral Verse. They move through the nighttime sky as expected.

Seasonal shifts in the stars? That's tougher.

RE: Quick Questions - Jack Darby - 04-28-2017

Is it okay to turn an NPC Prime into a Secondary?

RE: Quick Questions - Marcus Wright - 04-28-2017

I can't find my purchase log for Marcus for some reason.
