Re: Move Creation Workshop - PANDATRON - 10-27-2015 Gotcha, so I'll change it to this: OVERLOAD - 300 OM PANDATRON can overload his system, granting himself a "pool" of charge time he can use, allowing him to waive charge times from his other techniques. The use of this technique is instant, and he loses fatigue equal to a short sprint and sustains internal blunt damage as if he had received a strong punch in the gut. In exchange, he obtains 10 seconds of free "charge time" that he may use freely during the next minute. If he uses this move within 5 seconds of having used it already, he suffers double the consequences (and x3, x4, etc for further uses within 5 seconds of each other) Re: Move Creation Workshop - Tom Marvolo Riddle - 10-27-2015 The first spell is partially built system wise on Enel's Lightning Storm move. The Killing Curse is well just your average T1 super. Though it will only kill if it actually ends up deciding the fight. Hearthfire Charm [Ferventis Gelata] Cost: 600 Om? Requires: Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency This spell once properly incanted allows the user to charge and release a fire-hydrant of burning, molten white magic that blazes in a churning spectrum of red. It seems to stick and splatter, and ignite anything it comes in contact with. The charge up on the spell ranges between its incantation time of one and a half seconds to a full minute to produce a proportionally more, spectacular, longer lasting, and potently dangerous effect. At minimum charging duration this spell can be cast three times in a ten second period without exhausting a wand’s recharge rate. The Cruciatus Curse [Crucio] Cost: 300 Requires: Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency Like most Dark Magic, this spell requires equally dark emotions to power it. With a relatively low charge time of three quarters of a second, this spell is a faint, translucent bolt of white or red lightning. Unlike most spells however, it requires the caster maintain the spell for as long as they desire to inflict debilitating pain on the target, and their wand must remain aimed at the target at all times. Those with equal or greater DEF to the spell's ATK have the potential to resist the paralysis enough to act. May be cast or maintained once a second in ten second period without exhausting a wand’s recharge rate. The Killing Curse [Avada Kedavra] Cost: 600 or 900 Om? Requires: Super Attack T1,Ranged Proficiency, Area of Attack Proficiency Channeling a desire to see someone dead and feeling the rapture of Dark Magic, the caster unleashes bolt of deep emerald lightning in a straight line that releases molten motes of dripping light. Upon impact with a living organism to deals massive potentially lethal damage to the very life force of the target, but otherwise leaves no sign of its passing. If however it impacts on a non-living Mundane thing will be utterly destroyed as the spell continues forward in an attempt to end any life it can reach. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Asriel Dreemurr - 10-27-2015 No one has responded to my Whirlpool topic. It's been a day. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Illidan Stormrage - 10-28-2015 Ki Shield (Area Shield) (600) - Orion can manipulate his ki into a defensive plane, allowing it to absorb attacks directed at him. In the first instance, Orion can generate a curved shield that extends from his hands and covers his entire front, taking about two seconds to create. The oval shaped shield can absorb most non-Super attacks, and is especially good for blocking charged attacks. In the second instance, Orion can create a shield that encases his entire body in a blue capsule of energy, blocking attacks from all sides. However, this form of the Ki Shield is for withstanding weaker attacks, and will break easier than the first type. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Minato Namikaze - 10-28-2015 Tom Marvolo Riddle Wrote:The Cruciatus Curse [Crucio] Everything was good, up until the bold part. Be more clear. Can you maintain it for 1 second every 10 seconds? or, can you maintain it for a full 10 seconds before needing to re-cast the spell? Also, the charge time is a little short, I would just make it one second (the time it would take to say 'Crucio' without rushing the word). Edit: I know that most spells will work if you rush the words, but still, a second seems more than fair. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Tom Marvolo Riddle - 10-28-2015 Quote:The Cruciatus Curse [Crucio]Wordsmithed this slightly And yeah my standard power taxation doesn't quite work with a cast and maintain spell A. May be cast once a second in a ten second period and then may be maintained as long as the focus is maintained without exhausting a wand's recharge rate. (This was my intention, not sure how balanced it is though I can't cast any other spells while using it. And my character can only really be fixated on one target then.) B. May be cast once a second and up to three times in a ten second period without exhausting a wand's recharge, and may be maintained for the for the remainder of said period. (Probably more balance) I'm open to the power costs on it. Re: Move Creation Workshop - Minato Namikaze - 10-28-2015 Tom Marvolo Riddle Wrote:Quote:The Cruciatus Curse [Crucio]Wordsmithed this slightly Okay, just throw away the parts about how often it can be cast without exhausting your wand, that part with the wand pretty much just translates to how often a move can be used before it starts taking a real toll on the character itself (If you start spamming spells without showing fatigue on Tom, I will make you edit your posts ). Just tell me how long it can be maintained for. example: The effect can be maintained for a max of 10 seconds. This maintained time will get shorter and shorter as an opponents DEF stat gets closer to Tom's ATK stat and, if an opponents DEF stat is double Tom's ATK, will become almost useless. Note: I say almost useless as this still gives you some room for it to effect people for a second or two before they resist it. And you'd still need to be aiming the Wand directly at his opponents for the effect to continue. Also: Like I said, change that 'Three quarters of a second' Charge time to 1 second (3/4's of a second charge time is just weird XD) Re: Move Creation Workshop - Asriel Dreemurr - 10-28-2015 Now it's been two days. Don't need to address the fodder stuff Tail Whip - how long is the tail? How large are the waves it can produce? How far can the waves travel? Talons - Unfortunately, specifying effects based on stats doesn't work like that. Your talons, as a move, would do more or less damage the higher/ lower a person's DEF stat is. if it's 1, the talons will do more damage than if their defense is 2. How large are the talons? what do they look like? Short or Long? And the wand being aimed will always be true. I swear on left arm that I did change it at one point to a second, I have no clue what happened to the change after that. Conversely the opposite is true of those of lower DEF. May be cast once a second, and has baseline duration of up to ten seconds that it can be maintained. This gun has a special place in Connor's heart, for he made this gun on his own. He even made a custom attachment that he rarely takes off. He based it off of military rail gun technology. He called it the Electromagnetic Coil Chamber., or ECC. Once turned on a high pitched 'whine' can be heard on the very edge of normal human hearing. When a bullet is fired the ECC 'pulls' the bullet along, making it go faster. Thus a Super-sonic turns into a Magnum bullet, sub-sonic turns into a Super-sonic and explosive rounds explode in the chamber, so they are not usable. When the ECC is turned off it also doubles as a suspresser, so a Super-sonic rounds sound like a normal sub-sonic bullet, a sub-sonic is just a stacatto cough. The ECC also adds 6 inches to the overall length. *Note: I might have the ECC turned on or Explosive rounds as a super move Re: Move Creation Workshop - Zalgo - 10-28-2015 Connor Hound Wrote:Range: An unmoving target at 15ft is a guaranteed hit. I don't think the use of the term "guaranteed" is appropriate. It's pretty absolute, and unless the technique is homing, I believe that it is out of place. I suggest putting "nearly guaranteed" instead, to also account for that each bullet has different flight-speeds and an explicit chance to actually evade it. Re: Move Creation Workshop - The Rogue - 10-28-2015 Normal physics says that speed doesn't determine range, but yeah we're not using that, so yeah thank you! Re: Move Creation Workshop - The Rogue - 10-28-2015 Connor Hound Wrote:Lycöan: ?00 Is that good? And should I set the price as? Re: Move Creation Workshop - Zalgo - 10-28-2015 Connor Hound Wrote:Normal physics says that speed doesn't determine range Correct, but you included the chance to hit (a guaranteed hit in this case, auto-hitting) within the "range" category, which contained the issue I was addressing. Additionally, "normal" physics don't always apply. Omniphysics take precedence, for the sake of balance, and I believe that the move is unbalanced, as I have justified. Edit: Aaaand you editted your post. With a correction, so all good. Re: Move Creation Workshop - The Rogue - 10-28-2015 Okay Re: Move Creation Workshop - Shade - 10-28-2015 Move idea for a potential alt switch. The slash are to indicated both versions of the move. the first one i would buy and then it's upgrade. they would be the same principle but different numbers. Quote:Darkness Disengage Fuse (Requires Debuff Prof., Symbiosis, Basic Fusion) - Tier 1 Super Move - 600 OM Re: Move Creation Workshop - Demetri Malius - 10-28-2015 Pickpocket(900[melee, ranged, defense], requires Physical Strength, Ranged, Debuff) Demetri is able to steal weapons off of unsuspecting enemies and store them in one of his ten pockets on his leather cuirass. In order to use the weapon or defense, Demetri needs to have any and all proficients required for the item, but if not then he can only use the item as a simple projectile. Any items that Demetri steals and uses lose some of their their power and durability, meaning that they are only useful for a few uses, depending on the item. Once fully used, they shatter and reform in the hands of whoever the item was taken from. These can vary widely from swords, to guns, and shields, but only applies to physical items. For example, Demetri can't take a fireball, because its made from the user, and not something that you can just hold and save for later. However, he can take a sword and use it to slice an enemy or parry an attack. Every item he carries gradually slows him down, with a weapon being heavier the more powerful it is. However, this cannot be done in the middle of a fight, in which Demetri must make do with his current arsenal. Does not apply to super moves. Possible addition: Ability to grasp projectiles from the air and store in satchel? Final edits: gonna probably have it go to approval after this. Base ideas for the following, need some work: Thief's Satchel [Steal](Tier 1 Defensive- 600 Area Shield) Demetri can have his satchel expand and swallow the power from a super move. It takes five seconds for the satchel to conform to its maximum capacity, and once the power had been absorbed, retreats back to normal size, glowing with power. Thief's Satchel[Unleash](Tier 2 Offensive, 800) Demetri must have used [Steal] in order to gain power before using this supermove. Demetri combines his chains, giving him a 50m range, as he charges his combined chain with the absorbed energy from his enemy's attack. After charging for ten seconds, he shoots out a chain with 1 inch thick metal links and 5 inch blade to his opponent, capable of piercing strong opponents. |
