The walk home that night was once again halted upon th discovery of a body. However, this time the number of casualties numbered three, rather than one as it was in the evenings prior. A short, squat man in green clothing and sporting a red nose lay face down upon the cobblestones, atop whom the body of a young blonde woman clad in regal clothing was laid. At first, it seemed as if Zelda and Tingle were the only deaths, but when the bodies were moved, the Town discovered Poe's shattered lantern underneath their forms. No form of communication could be found in regards to their position as a Mafioso, so they could only assume that these new deaths were innocent townspeople.

The morning sun rose and bathed Hyrule Castle Town in light. The citizenry awoke, making their way to the town center, as per the norm. On this day, two bodies were found. The first was a massive beast of a creature, the Demon King Demise. The second a blue-haired woman known as Nayru. A search of them revealed that Demise was a member of the Mafia, while Nayru was merely a townie.

We never did learn if we had any investigating roles...
Sadly, mafia didn't fall for my trap, my role only activates when I'm killed. Was kind of hoping they'd go after me but if they haven't done it this long...
I guess I'll just be sitting around for the rest of the game.

Three more of them had died, the elderly sister to the already killed Koume, the young ranch girl Malon, and the green-haired goddess Farore. Who and how they died, no one knew. Each had retired to their homes early, and when their friends went to check on them, each was slumped over their kitchen tables. Perhaps they simply could not take the pressure any longer and had ended their own lives?
