Re: Quick Questions II - Roger Smith - 01-10-2016 Neptune Wrote:Does Flight on its own cover jumping higher than Master Super Jumping allows? If not, could one use a combination of Flight and Burst Movement to jump higher than Master Super Jumping allows? As jar as actually jumping goes you'd still be limited by the height of Master Super Jumping, but if you wanted to play it as your version of 'flight' just being standing on the air and jumping to gain more height/change directions in midair you could do that. Re: Quick Questions II - Kylo Ren - 01-10-2016 One more question for me for now! Devon, who is no more technically, was in a thread with Jade's NPC. I have now submitted him as an NPC for approval himself, though slightly different then the older version. If he gets accepted would we be able to continue the thread we had started? Like Devon sort of flickers, wierd stuff happens, then is back.... but as two NPCS? Would we have to drag an actual prime player in with us to do it? We were planning on hunting Drac, but have them horribly fail and get murdered, or keep getting side tracked by helping people in the Moores and also potentially getting horribly murdered. Or would we just have to drop the thread? This is all depending on IF he gets accepted as an NPC, if not then it is all moot anyway! Re: Quick Questions II - Dark Link - 01-11-2016 Brother Devon Wrote:One more question for me for now! If Devon is approved as a Prime NPC, then you may resume his adventures as normal. In fact, you don't even need to make any sort of deliberate IC transition unless you want to. From an IC perspective, nothing really changes for Devon, so he may continue his journey without interruptions. Just don't forget that, even if he is a former PC, all the rules and restrictions regarding Prime NPCs still apply. Trixie Wrote:Well I was looking to give her Regeneration just to have a healing factor. Then I was going to make a Super Move called "Kolto Injection" that would be an instant moderate level heal for myself or anyone I chose. In order to heal others, you would require Healing, not just Regeneration. Re: Quick Questions II - Black☆Star - 01-11-2016 And another thing. Is it at all possible to create a base and fill said base with npc secondaries? So, say I summoned a village-esque base, could I fill it with villagers? I assume it would take much longer and be more difficult to achieve, but this is a long time goal, to be fair. Re: Quick Questions II - The Rogue - 01-11-2016 Do I need the growth power to have an assist that is 34 feet tall? Related: do I need the shrink power to have a move where it's an animal that is 2.2 feet tall? It's apart of a homing/zombie type move Re: Quick Questions II - Yu Kanda - 01-12-2016 Connor Hound Wrote:Do I need the growth power to have an assist that is 34 feet tall? Related: do I need the shrink power to have a move where it's an animal that is 2.2 feet tall? It's apart of a homing/zombie type move The rules state : Assist characters have access to all of your Proficiencies, Powers and Moves. Without growth the assist will not be able to grow to those heights. The animal is fine, no need to get shrink for that 2.2 feet tall is not a problem for an animal assist. Higher staff can correct me if I am wrong. Re: Quick Questions II - Proto Man - 01-12-2016 Black☆Star Wrote:And another thing. Ganondorf has a village as part of his base. #2 - If you want to spend the OM on the whistle, we can work something out. Just get in touch with me. Re: Quick Questions II - Link - 01-13-2016 Would each of link's different coloured tunics be classed as fodder items and free, or would I have to spend OM on them, given the bonus each one carries? Re: Quick Questions II - Minato Namikaze - 01-13-2016 That depends on the bonuses they have and if you want them to have said bonuses Re: Quick Questions II - Amaterasu - 01-14-2016 If someone who uses a VR Projection in the Dataverse is defeated, can the winner banish them "remotely" by banishing their virtual self, or must they be physically present? Re: Quick Questions II - Yu Kanda - 01-14-2016 Amaterasu Wrote:If someone who uses a VR Projection in the Dataverse is defeated, can the winner banish them "remotely" by banishing their virtual self, or must they be physically present? You would have to banish the actual physical person. Banishing an avatar has no effect. Re: Quick Questions II - Tearen Wover - 01-16-2016 Do I have to get an NPC Prime approved if they're just gonna last for a single quest before being offed? Re: Quick Questions II - Minato Namikaze - 01-16-2016 Yes, they are a Prime. All NPC Primes need to be approved Re: Quick Questions II - Link - 01-19-2016 Is it acceptable to summon a weapon over a relatively quick time (read: 2/3 seconds) for use in a super move, for it to then disappear after its single use? The idea I had involved Link's Megaton Hammer. Essentially, he leaps at an enemy, summoning the weapon along the way, and swings as he reaches. The weapon disappears instantaneously once it has made contact with either a surface or another prime/whatever he hits. Re: Quick Questions II - Dark Link - 01-19-2016 Yes, that is acceptable. In fact, even when it comes to regular (non-expendable) moves, as long as it is mentioned in the description, you can do something like pulling out a weapon out of 'hyperspace' instead of having your character carry it on their person or re-summoning it every time they need it. Re: Quick Questions II - Jak Mar - 01-19-2016 Can we bring a quote on quote "dead" secondary from Jak's world but take him before he was dead? Re: Quick Questions II - Yu Kanda - 01-19-2016 Jak Mar Wrote:Can we bring a quote on quote "dead" secondary from Jak's world but take him before he was dead?Yes ofcourse, any secondary can be (re) Summoned. If you wish to summon him from before he was dead, you can. Re: Quick Questions II - Tearen Wover - 01-19-2016 So. I was wondering if I could play with the fluff of the Vita Compass a little bit. I want Nealaphh to be able to track down people it has met, but I want it to do so by using its manipulation of time and telepathy to pick up on 'imprints' left by the people it is looking for. Essentially, it would allow Nealaphh to glean certain pieces of information that the target was thinking or feeling at the time, such as 'battle' or 'laughter' or 'I want to go to this place'. Is that acceptable as fluff, or would I need to buy a move? Re: Quick Questions II - Minato Namikaze - 01-21-2016 The Vita Compass can only point you in the right direction. On top of that, Telepathy will only work on people that are in close proximity to you or people that you can sense with enhanced senses. And Time manipulation let's you, temporarily, speed up or slow down time. Not reverse it. It's an interesting Idea, but I'm going to say no (for now, someone might overrule me) Re: Quick Questions II - Kopaka - 01-22-2016 Is there a specific rule against Primes creating secondary clones of themselves? |
