I realize there may be a joke or two, but It spawns from ill thought.
Out of respect for the site and the winner of DA, I promise that decides to go after the winner... Even Attempting... i will banish you personally. I wont give you a chance. I will disrespect you just as you disrespected them.
And I hate the Banishing thing.
In character... It will work... There is no Meta-gaming... I will destroy you. Respect the Abyss.. Respect the Players... Respect the Handler? Lol.
I dont care who wins... Samus.... Mickey... GIl... DP...Doomy.... Luffy...Sasuke....
You wont rip it from them without having to get the reprecussions of dealing with the Horsemen. And It will make In character reason for Retane to respect the Grand Champion... If you think I am bluffing... try it. I dont care if I hate the person... You wont rip an artefact just because they won

Presumably Retane would hear about the Grand Champion getting ganked and go to defend their honour. Though the character may or may not be high profile so Ret'll likely have to do a lot of searching to get 'em.

I don't get it. Are you saying you're gonna protect the winner? I mean, the winner gets some pretty nice rewards. It would make sense for people to want to go after them. There's nothing disrespectful about that.

Think it has been like 3 people that joked in chat They'd kill the winner... Cuz they died.So mad cuz they died when you died . They expected glorious deaths in a HUGE fight...

Not to be antagonistic, but doesn't the previously stated noteriety that a winner would have in many verses kinda eliminate the metagaming part of it? It's not a stretch to say "Tom from Coruscant is popular since he won that big contest. Probably has some nice shit. I think I'll kill him." It's actually more of a stretch for Retane to show up and be like "Hey I heard you were gonna get jumped (somehow)."

You realize that the winner is going to have two dragon eggs, the definitely-not-Carnage, and whatever custom artefact they make, and whatever the champ belt does on top of that. Two points; they have just painted a massive target on their backs, and they don't need your damn protection.

I think I could handle you AND the victor just fine. Like I said up top: It won't be a personal vendetta. I ain't mad they won and I didn't. I just want what is mine. If they hand my Egg over without a fight, so be it. If not, I'll take it and everything else that's precious to them.
